About

Swinging gracefully through the trees Tarzan style, red hair blowing in the breeze, it's hard to imagine the orangutans of Borneo and Sumatra being on nature's shortlist. But as the only great ape outside of Africa, the ongoing destruction of their rainforest habitat has put them under huge threat. The good news is that there is still a chance to do something to help. Adopting one of these amazing creatures can help safeguard their future, so here are some practical tips on turning your garden into a rainforest... or maybe not! Rather than a hairy creature we'll send you an animal fact booklet, photograph of your adopted animal, animal screensaver and green tips information. Plus when the adoption is activated you will receive a personalised certificate and newsletter by email, so that you can chart your animal's progress and other projects WWF are involved with. You'll even get a cuddly toy so you can have a red-head at home to play with.
