  • About

This pocket rocket is so light and has so much power that it can reach 0-60 in a staggering 2.7 seconds and a top speed of 150 mph. An amazing piece of engineering, built with a lightweight chassis and minimal body panels in aid of saving weight, it isn't your average looking sports car - no roof, no doors, no compromise. Start off the experience with a short briefing from a qualified instructor who will talk about car racing lines and track driving techniques. Then drive round the circuit in a sports saloon for approximately two miles of familiarisation laps. Take the driving seat of the awesome Atom for six miles of driving in total.

    • Briefing from a qualified instructor
    • A sports saloon warm-up by an instructor for a couple of miles
    • Drive the Ariel Atom - definitely not an average looking sports car
    • Finish off with a debrief

What a great morning, the Rockingham Raceway certainly built the excitement as I looked out over the track watching the performance cars in action, then it was my turn to take the Atom out. A great car, a challenging circuit and superb organisation and instruction from truly enthusiastic professionals.. Can't wait to do it again! A great value Red Letter Day!

Excellent drive, tremendous fun and made better by having an itercom link so that the instructor can tell you what to do and when to do it, which maximises what you can get out of the experience.

I can now see why its called the 'pocket rocket' what an absolute thrill. The weather was glorious, the location superb and the instructor brilliant. We blasted out 6 laps and got quicker and quicker and you are so close to the floor its like driving a single seater. I need to do that again ...

Wow. When they say thrill, they mean it. The best car i've been in, and will probably never do so again unless i have another experience day. Forget the supercars, the rush from the Atom was awesome. The speed and handling was amazing, especially when driving one of the best circuits in the country. I would recommend this experience to anyone, just be warned. You will want one afterwards.

Awesome, Thrilling And Over All Too Soon...

Fabulous experience - speed in all its glory - the Atom was a delight to drive, with the added thrill of the race track and speed - with no limits! Well only those imposed by the instructor when drfting slightly off course! My only dissappointment was the speed at which it all came to an end... I have been left wanting - and will be booking a longer more indepth racing experience in the future...Thank you for a truly memorable experience.
