Great Experience For A Couple To Do
The experience was very well organised and laid back, made to feel at ease and have a laugh throughout the morning. Learnt a lot, was a great experience for me and my partner to go and do without the children!
Excellent Way Of Making Delicious Xmas Pressies!
I took my mum to the chocolate making workshop in London. I was impressed by the high level of information the tutor gave us. We made different types of chocolate truffles, which you were able to package up as gifts for Christmas ... this has come in very handy! We had a good giggle, and there was a nice mixture of other people attending. Most importantly we came home with about 40 truffles EACH!!! Yummy! Prepare to get a bit messy!
A Real Chocolate Champion
From the minute we arrived until the minute we left we were made to feel so welcome and a real part of the whole process. Our teacher was excellent and made this mysterious art seem so simple that you could use the ideas you learned back at home. We got to make a fair few chocolates and bring them all home which was yummy.
We had a really fun filled afternoon which was made by Gerry our Master Chocolatier. Very interesting too with the added bonus of taking home our chocolates - 50 of them! A great way of having a girlie afternoon - thank you.
I was bought this experience as a present from my boyfriend to keep me occupied while he was away traveling! It was an amazing day, learning all about the history of chocolate, making chocolate and more importantly getting to eat chocolate!
My daughter and I had a most amazing day at the chocolate making workshop. The staff were helpful, friendly and knowledgeable.The other participants were friendly and the whole day could not have been more enjoyable.
Wonderful Experience, Would Definitely Do It Again
A wonderful time learning about chocolate, tasting chocolate and making chocolate to take home and continue eating! We received a warm greeting upon arrival, had lots of chocolate facts explained to us and given lots of opportunity through clear instructions to make lots of chocolate. The host was friendly, informative and made the experience thoroughly enjoyable with numerous jokes throughout the day.
An Important Lesson In Chocolate!!
The experience began with the all important tasting of the chocolate fountain and quickly moved on the the truffle making. Along the way the we were informed about the different processes that the cocoa bean goes through before it becomes a bar of chocolate. All very interesting. There was plenty of time for everyone to make and bag up over 40 truffles each, taking in to account that several were eaten along the way! We were even shown how to make after dinner mint crisp, so easy and simple and of course we were all able to taste this too. A truly yummy day, take a friend and enjoy the day together.Don't just read this, book it, you won't regret it for one second - who would??
Total Fun Way To Make A Chocolate Mess!
We had a really great time on the course. It was a wedding present from work colleagues. We both love chocolate and it was a great way to spend our last day together before my husband has had to go to Germany and then posted to Afghanistan for 6 months!
I Gave My Sister A 30Th Birthday Gift To Remember!
We had a great day. Not only were we able to indulge in chocolate during the session, we also learnt a lot about how chocolate is created. I have definitely taken away new knowledge and skills to enable me to make my own chocolate truffles at home. The 45 truffles I got to take away with me on the day was a bonus too! Highly recommended!
The workshop was the best. The instructor made it fun and interesting with his short history lesson about chocolate. I went with my 15yr old daughter and she enjoyed the experience and had a great time. We both felt confident that we could go off and make our own selection of chocolates as gifts for family and friends as a result of this day.
We had a nice intro into chocolate history and types of chocolate but not too long - we were all keen to start making chocolates. Our teacher was both learned and entertaining and kept us smiling throughout the session. Would definitely recommend this as a day out. We took away happy memories and yummy chocolates too!
Great Fun And Great Memories
This experience was a Christmas present from our daughter and all I can is say what a great choice she made. The chef made everyone feel relaxed and he was very informative and a great laugh. It was one of the best days we've had in a long while and we'd do it again.

A Real Heaven For Chocolate Lovers
Our 21st birthday celebrations were really complete when we traveled to London for the chocolate course. Not only did we learn how to make truffles but no one told you off when you licked your fingers! There was a constant white chocolate fountain throughout which never ran dry and tasted delicious. The chocolatier taking the class was funny, friendly and very informative.
Thoroughly Enjoyable Day!!!
Very friendly atmosphere especially once the chocolate started to flow, very patient and informative chocolatier. When we were rolling our truffles, what a mess!!! Then when it was time to cover in MORE chocolate even MORE MESS!!! What a good laugh and experience. Would recommend to anybody, even those who don't do chocolate.
We had a fabulous time and were amazed that we really learnt how to handle chocolate. It was a real class and we have an idea now of how to make truffles and at what temperature! We had so many chocolates to take home, after being shown how to gift-wrap them, that I have luxurious- looking packets to give to the family who clubbed together to give me this fantastic birthday present. Many thanks to the staff who took the class.
Chocs Off For Choclovers!
Loving chocolate is not a requirement for this day! Wanting to have a great day out is however! From the time we arrived, the friendliness of the chef and his assistant ensured a good time was had by all. The demonstration and spoken guidance was entertaining as well as instructive, so when it came to the practical element for the course - eating - sorry I meant making your very own chocolate treats (in our case almost 100 between my wife and myself), we felt confident, and there was no holding us back. What fun we had! We were even provided with cute little bags and ribbons for packaging our chocolates into gift sized portions. All in all a great day out. P.S. It's a double whammy iif you DO like chocolate though, as theres no end of tasting oportunies!
It was such fun, my son's eyes just sparkled with excitement and enjoyment the whole afternoon. It was infectious. What better way could you enjoy the company of a 14 year old? He is already planning a return trip and looking forward to when he can bring Dad and younger brother along as well. There was a nice mix of people, friends, couples, all having a very enjoyable afternoon.
Fantastic Chocolate Filled Experience!
My partner and I had an amazing day making over 70 chocolates!! The day was superbly organised and our tutor knew everything there was to know about chocolate and more!! The quality of the chocolate was fantastic and we even got some beautiful Christmassy packaging to wrap it all up in at the end. Highly recommended as a great day out with your partner, children, friends or even on your own if you are chocolate crazy ... worth every penny!
Chocolate Absolutely Everywhere!
The workroom smelt of chocolate, we were surrounded by chocolate - of the best quality only! We worked with chocolate, we ate chocolate, we wrapped chocolate! We used chocolate as a new form of tasty, perfumed make-up, handcream and hair conditioner. The great thing is we still have loads of chocolate to eat ourselves and give to friends! Wow!!
I got this package for a birthday gift, and it was definitely worth the money. Had a really great day, had a lot of laughs making the chocolate. It was messy, fun and you get to eat as much chocolate as you want! The chocolatier was really friendly and helpful and made everyone giggle. Me and my boyfriend had a brilliant day out, especially as we got to leave with heaps of our own little chocs to eat on the way home :)

The service was great, we were made to feel very welcome and the surrounding environment was superb. I think it is a great pressie for Mothers or Fathers Day, great way to bond with someone and make new friends.
My 16 year old daughter and myself had a great day - real experience of 'The Generation Game'; great fun and loads of chocolates at the end of it.
Fantastic Experience, High Quality Chocolate
I can highly recommend this to everyone. It was extremely well organised and the chocolate of really high quality. We also enjoyed the history and some of the theoretical knowledge the master chocolatier shared with us.
Very Enjoyable And Very Hands On
The day was very informative and very hands on, the chef was excellent and really knew his stuff. If you love chocolate (and even if you don't) you will love this day, and being able to take your chocolates home with you is a bonus too.
I enjoyed myself so much I would like to repeat it with ALL my friends together!
An Excellent Mother-daughter Bonding Experience!
Great value for money and it's fantastic that you take away a new skill and can continue to practice at home. It's not just a one-off thing. The only thing I would alter is that rather than having only marshmallows to use at the chocolate fountain there should be something else. Maybe even a little shot glass. Other than that it really was a great day.
