    Chocolate Workshop

Fantastic session for chocoholics and aspiring chocolatiers alike. Day started with a talk about the benefits and processes of making chocolate followed by demonstration and hands on ganache and truffle making. The method of tempering was shown and there was plenty of opportunity for chocolate eating. I haven't laughed so much in ages at our attempts to produce the perfect chocolate log!

This was a surprise day out for my husband (by me) while our young children stayed at Grandma and grandpa's. My husband is a professional chef, but he had never made chocolate truffles before. The venue was comfortable and located in a hotel/conference center in a beautiful rural area outside Stratford upon Avon. Our chocolatier was knowledgeable, personable, and fun. Great fun event to plan a day trip around.

    Chocolate Workshop for Two

A relaxed and very informative experience. Chris, our Chocolatier was passionate about chocolate, a great teacher and very funny. This was a Wedding Gift with a real difference. A wide mix of people, a fun morning....and plenty of chocolate! I felt like a pro when I left, and it won't stop there. My Husband & I will be making Truffles as gifts for friends and family this year. A well worthwhile experience that will stay with us forever (unlike the Truffles)! The Venue, The Queens Club in Kensington was also Top Class! Outstanding overall!

    Chocolate Workshop for Two

I bought this experience for my daughter's birthday and we were really looking forward to it. We are very fond of chocolate! We were so impressed by the location at Queen's Tennis Club and everything was so well presented, clean, hygienic and comfortable to use. This was most important to us. Chris and his daughter couldn't have been more helpful, friendly and patient and gave us all very clear instructions, plus lots of useful tips and information on the history of chocolate and how it should be enjoyed every day!! We had lots of chances to taste it too!! I felt that everyone present had a thoroughly enjoyable day and went home with their beautifully packaged and presented truffles all done by us. We were never hurried or made to feel that we were asking too many questions - they were the perfect teachers! The experience started at 2.00 pm and we didn't leave until 5.30 pm so we had excellent value for money. Oh, and the chocolate was absolutely delicious!!

    Great Day

    Chocolate Workshop for Two

We had a great afternoon at the Newcastle Chocolate Heaven Workshop for Two. The instructions were clear, informative and easy to follow. We had lots of fun making the chocolates and they looked quite professional by the end of the session. We even got to package them and take them home (thus ensuring that the treat continued after the event!). In total, between us, we made about 68 chocolates - true chocolate heaven!

It was so good! Not for those diet consious people! The staff were friendly, the venue was nice and everyone who attended was nice too...a lot of fun if you're looking for something to do with a boyfriend/girlfriend as a bonding experience. Makes for a perfect gift too and the chocolates come out so professional at the end they're good enough to sell.

    Chocolate Workshop for Two

This was bought as a present for me and my boyfriend. I am a huge chocolate fan and this was perfect, but whether you are a big chocolate fan or not, this is a great experience. Our teacher, Chris was brilliant. He gave a talk about chocolate which was informative and he made it fun too and we had the opportunity to try some chocolate including a chocolate fountain which we were free to eat throughout the morning. He showed us how to make truffles step by step and at no point were we ever felt rushed or under pressure. Everything was provided, aprons, materials, ingredients and gift bags to put our chocolates in at the end of the workshop. The time flew by because we had such a good time. It was an opportunity to have some fun together, produce some very professional looking chocolates, make a mess and not have to tidy up at the end of it! We would definitely do this again! No stress or hassle, just good fun! Thanks!

    Chocolate Workshop for Two

I am finding hard to think of any improvement. we enjoyed it very much. The only thing I would say is, when rolling the centres into balls we/everyone said the same thing, we could have done with a seperate tray to put the rolled ones on as everything was a bit tight for space. But lets be honest, if that id all I can think of then there's not much wrong with it is there!!! Thoroughly enjoyable, and the organisers were great fun.
