    A trip for a group of four friends to Diggerland guarantees a fun filled, exciting and action-packed day out - however old or young you all are as Diggerland attracts people of all ages. Take the opportunity to ride in and drive different types of construction machinery including dumper trucks, mini diggers and giant diggers (all under strict supervision). There will be plenty of photo opportunities too and you can learn about the workings of the machines from the fully trained instructors constantly on hand. Diggerland is a day out with a difference - learn how the diggers work, and actually drive them too!

    Availability

    The parks are open at weekends and bank holidays from February to October and seven days a week during school holidays. All parks close during November, December and January.

    Participant Guidelines

    Children (under 13) must be accompanied and supervised by their guardian(s). Under 5's are restricted or need to be accompanied on some rides/activities. Height restrictions apply on all rides/activities and those under 90cms are too small for diggers.

    Weather

    Diggerland is predominantly an outdoor experience but, although rare, they may restrict some rides in the event of very poor weather.

    Duration

    The parks open at 10am and you are free to stay until 5pm (or 4pm in February, March and October).

    Spectators

    Any additional adults or children (over 90 cms) can pay on the day to enter Diggerland. The parks do not allow entry of dogs, with the exception of guide dogs. Why not take your own picnic?

    Dress Code

    Please dress for comfort and wear suitable footwear such as trainers or wellies. There is a chance that you may get a little muddy, so bringing a change of footwear is a good idea.

    Other Info

    Diggerland does not permit the use of bbqs at any of its parks. Although not included in the price, empty tummies can be refuelled at The Dig Inn, with a selection of snacks, burgers, salads etc (be aware credit cards are not accepted in the food area).

    Our party ranged from 21 to 70 years old, male and female and I can honestly say we were all totally entertained for the day. Great time would highly recommend.

    Wasn't expecting much, really surprised when we got there, opened at 10am on a Saturday, not busy, we were on the rides straight away, had six hours of continuous enjoyment. Went on all rides numerous times. Staff are one of the friendliest we've come across, very helpful and polite. Overall a very enjoyable experience.

    A family day out well enjoyed, form the Spin Dizzy, to the hook a duck. Everyone experienced the dumper truck driving course, squiggy bob cats and Dad's JCB driving. Dig-in cafe, plates were cleared with nothing left to clearup. All-in all a great day out.

    What a slection of boy's toys! Not too busy and not too big, Diggerland was everything we expected and more. No huge queues, no being told 'don't touch' and helpful, friendly staff who have the right balance between safety and having fun. At the end of the day, four tired but very happy boys. We will definitely be back.

    Diggerland was better than expected. Our whole family smiled from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. We all drove diggers and excavated using real Big Boy machinery. My 9 year old got to drive a Range Rover around a course with us in the back, and my 6 year old was able to go on virtually everything himself. Great fun.

    Very little time in queues, kids loved feeling like a grown up using the machines. No large crowds perfect for Kids & Dad's, although Mum's will like it too.

    My grandchildren said that they have one of the best days out ever. They said it was awsome. It was also very much enjoyed by the rest of the family. We are talking about making a repeat vist next year.

    We were a little disappointed on our way to Strood as the rain came in - heavier and heavier. However, we were not to be disappointed. We had packed the car with our wellies and a change of clothes for the journey home and, if anything, the rain only added to the fun of the day. Once inside the park, the rain ensured there was plenty of mud which made the tractor and robot driving so much more fun. Our children (two aged 5) absolutely loved it! And so did Mum and Dad! We spent the entire day digging, go-karting, shuttling, driving, going up in the air, around in the air - you name it, we did it - all on diggers! The rain cleared by lunchtime and, after picnicking on a picnic table, we all enjoyed a fun afternoon in the sun. We arrived at 10 and left after the last ride at 5. I would throughly recommend this experience - fun for all the family!

    I went to Diggerland with my husband and my 6 year old twin girls. We had a fantastic time driving diggers and dumper trucks. We got there at opening time and left at closing time. It was a fun filled day for all the family and I would recommend it to friends. I don't think I have laughed so much for ages.

    I took my two daughters - and we had the best day out we've had for ages. The hands on driving all the different machines was brilliant. We laughed so much and the staff were all friendly. Even the rain didn't dampen our fun, in fact it made some of the rides better!
