A fantastic day out, and a great way to learn about car control in treacherous conditions in a safe environment. The instructor was very personable and gave a detailed and interactive briefing beforehand so we knew what things we were going to be doing in the car and the theory behind controlling a rear-drive car on a muddy surface In the car the instructor took us round in turn (a very skilled driver!) before we swapped and drove ourselves, learning how to powerslide and handbrake turn around different areas of the circuit before a number of laps of the whole track combining the two. The track was brilliant- muddy, narrow and fast- everything you would want a forest rally stage to be! And despite being 35 years old (Ford Escort Mk2's), the cars were extremely well-sorted and amazing to drive. The whole experience was extremely relaxed, with none of the 'rushing' you get on some experience days, you get loads of time in the car, and the instructor is very encouraging. Superb.

Having driven these cars as a youngster I couldnt get over how heavy steering was compared to my current car. Driving by the seat of ones pants is to be recommended for all.

An excellent taster for someone like me with no experience of rallying. There is plenty of time in the car to get the feel of controlling it around the circuit, skids, handbrake turns etc. The conclusion with the rally "pro" was incredible when he showed what can be done in the same car on the same circuit.

A thoroughly good day out at a well organised facility. Great to learn the art of the handbrake turn and fling some mud around! Spent a lot of time driving the car sideways!

The venue was easy to find, clear directions and communications from the venue operators. Very friendly staff who organised a smoothly run program for the day. I was particularly pleased that the activity was restricted to a small number of participants-it had a friendly feel to it. The instructor was very professional (and obviously very brave!). His instructions were clear and instilled confidence. The final lap, driven by the professional, was exhilerating! I will definitely be trying this again!

Ever spun a rally car at high speed through some tyres? I hadn't until I went on the 'Raly Thrill' I had a blast. It felt great to be able to push a car to its limits and even better to know that when I crossed that limit, the only thing that got hurt was a few tyres. The instructor was great, he stayed super cool despite my odd slip up and helped me to improve my handbrake turns. After my driving time, it was into the passenger seat of another car where a professional showed me what the cars can realy do in experienced hands. That dude was quick! A great experience all round. Thanks very much.

I had a great day on the rally thrill experience. The whole thing was a great buzz and was very well arranged. The teacher actually got me powersliding and doing handbrake turns!! Unbelievable!! After we had our go he showed us how the car should really be driven- very quickly! It really is a thrill and being a mum to two children under the age of three, it is a great stress reliever- fantastic therapy!! Highly recommended and look forward to going again soon. Thanks

I was given this experience as a birthday present and initially felt that the time spent driving was not that long. However, it was definitely long enough and I felt like I was driving for hours, it was an amazing experience. The instructor was so patient and funny and had me doing incredible powerslides and handbrake turns. I would definitely recommend this experience for anyone that's a bit of an adrenaline junkie! I'd do t again! Thanks so much

the day started a bit slow due to a few people being late. But the organisers managed to sort the late ones out. I can't really explain the feeling of the drive in words but by god the evo was fast the only down fall of this was the track was oval i would i like a few different types of bends and longer straight to get more feel for the car but it was still very enjoyable. After the fast laps then came the nice and slow hand brake turning in the clio! All i can say is wicked! Learned a lot from this knowing how to control my car if i skid. Then last but not least the passenger ride felt safe as houses but what a feeling. The guy driving was awesome! Fast was understatement! It was an experience to see, first hand, how it's done properly.
