    Head-to-head, the Ferrari F360 and the Lamborghini Gallardo. Both are rated in a super elite group of supercars and let's face it, few of us would get a chance to sit inside one (let alone drive) if it weren't for this experience. If you are interested in the technicalities, the Ferrari does 0 - 60 mph in 4.5 seconds and has a top speed of 183 mph. The Gallardo has 500bhp and a top speed of nearly 200 mph. One can argue the finer points of each car and their differences but we invite you to choose for yourself. After a briefing and some track driving tips from your instructor, you'll drive both cars for a full six miles in each. Finish with a question and answer session and take home a certificate.

    Availability

    MUST be booked and taken by the end of September 2012. Saturdays around once a month throughout the year in Northamptonshire and Lancashire and midweek dates in Derbyshire. Dates fill very quickly, so please book at least six weeks in advance.

    Participant Guidelines

    Minimum age is 18. Maximum weight is 20 stone. Minimum height is 4'10'', maximum 6'2''. You must have held a full British or international manual driving licence for at least 12 months which you must bring with you on the day in order to participate.

    Weather

    Driving might be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions (e.g. snow, ice, heavy rain or high winds) which would make driving at speed dangerous.

    Duration

    Expect to be at the circuit for around two and a half hours, including your briefing and approximately 30 minutes driving. Please arrive in advance of your booked time to ensure a prompt start.

    Numbers On Day

    In-car tuition is on a one-to-one basis, except your demo lap which is shared. Briefings are held in groups of up to 30 people.

    Spectators

    Spectators are welcome and there are cafe/clubhouse facilities on site. Please note that animals (apart from guide dogs) aren't allowed at any circuits.

    Dress Code

    Wear trousers, a long-sleeved shirt and flat-soled shoes. A helmet will be provided, or you can bring your own if you have one.

    Other Info

    The race circuits are MSA-approved for quality and safety and founder members of the Association of Racing Drivers Schools, with all instructors being ARDS qualified.

    I bought the experience for my partner and he had such an amazing time.. He loved driving both cars although he was quite nervous to start.. He managed to get me in a V8 touring car to get me back so we both had a fantastic day.. Looking forward to book another experience in the very near future. Would definitely recommend..

    It was great to have the chance to try a Ferrari and Lambo 'back to back'... You see them on TV on the likes of Top Gear and you wonder if there really is a difference!!! Let me tell you... THERE IS!!! The Ferrari is delicate and neat, but the Lambo is a brute and just puts such a wide smile on your face that you want to kick the instructor out of the car and drive off into the sunset...The only down side to the day is that it over all to fast and as you are driving home you say to yourself. I want to do it all over again.
