Brilliant. This was something that I had wanted to do for a long time. The pilot and staff made me and my wife very welcome. Although it was grey and overcast the flight was most enjoyable. I even took controls of the plane. Great day, great experience.

What a fantastic experience - taking control of the aircraft both on the ground and, more importantly, in the air, was such an amazing experience. I would recommend it to anyone with an interest in flying...it's just you and the instructor for an hour in the air. It's even made me think about continuing on to obtain a private pilot licence!

I bought the 60 minute Aircraft Flight for my Husband as a birthday present and he totally loved the experience. The Instructor was friendly, approachable and very accommodating. He made my husband feel special all the way through and let him take control of the plane. It was a wonderful experience and one that my husband would love to do again. Thank you to Red Letter days for making the booking process so seamless and for the great flying experience.

Better than i had imagined. Great way to start if your looking into getting a licence, great taster. Was only up for 40min even though it should have been an hour, nevertheless a great day. Definitely recommend. The wind added to the thrill also!!!

My flight was the first flight that day and the weather was perfect. I had decided to go to Sibson Aerodrome near Peterborough. I was warmly received and offered a hot drink on arrival. Everything was well organised and it wasn't long before we were on the runway getting ready for take-off. The instructor was very friendly and informative with that typical pilot calming voice. He flies airliners as a day job and light aeroplanes are clearly his passion. He took us up in the Robin two seater and at 4500 feet explained the controls to me very clearly. Then it was my turn to take control! I flew for 45 minutes over local landmarks like Burnley House and Rutland water. My instructor was very well informed about the area and we could see for about 40 miles in all directions. I enjoyed flying so much that it felt to be over in 5 minutes. I felt totally thrilled and completely energised by the experience. I can thoroughly recommend this experience to anyone who wants to try out flying!

Could hardly believe that just 40minutes after arriving at the flying school, I was in control of the aircraft! Flying circles over Silverstone racetrack and Althorp House was truly incredible! A fantatstic experience!

I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. The instructor explained everything clearly and I was amazed how quickly into the lesson I was allowed to take over the controls. The scenery was breathtaking and the personal realisation of what I was actually doing was unbelievable and very exhilerating. Flying was something that I had wanted to do for a long time and and my lovely fiance, Stuart, made my dream come true. I would love to have more lessons in the future and maybe get my Pilot's license.

Everything was really easy to set up. Sibson airfiled handled the detailed part of my booking really well and the instructor who took me up ensured I really had a fantastic experience. I was expecting it to be really great but, if anything, it exceeded my expectations. I can't wait to have another flight.

Having been bought this experience as a birthday present, it has been one of the best times I have experienced. All the arrangements worked like clockwork and the flight and instructor were marvellous. Being flown in a light aircraft was great but flying it myself was exhilarating. I was amazed to have been allowed a hand in everything from taxiing and take off to landing. Once in the air, it was pretty much just me! Simultaneously terrifying and exhilarating! My instructor made it a great experience for me, talking through the controls and the feel of flying and ensuring that I enjoyed the experience with tour guide commentary - which I did, right down to being the one communicating with the control centre in usual flying lingo! And the scenery in Devon is amazing, we flew up towards the Bristol channel and then swept west across and down the entire North Devon coastline. Jaw-droppingly beautiful and amazing to see places I know so well from the air. In fact, straight afterwards I went surfing in Croyde, which I had only flown a loop around about an hour earlier!

After a fifteen minute briefing, off we went. When we got up to 1000ft the pilot said 'Right it's all yours' so with his instructions I flew the plane. He got me to go over this cloud, and under that cloud, he taught me how to turn right and left, we flew over Harwich, over Felixstow, and over my brother's house in West Mersea. The time went so quick, then he said as I had done so well he would let me take it down to 400ft and line it up to land before he took over and landed it. He then told me how to taxi it over the grass to the hangar. Out we got and my wife was able to take some photos, I was then presented with a pilot's log book with the 1hr lesson in. I had a great time and would recommend it to anyone.

Very enjoyable experience. Instructor very friendly and easy to get on with. The scenery was beautiful and with the weather being so good I could see for miles. Would highly recommend as a fun, new experience. Only down side is that there were no sites in Scotland so had to travel 300 miles to the nearest allocated airfield. However it did give me the opportunity to have a weekend away with my wife which is no bad thing!

I had a fantastic flight with a lovely instructor. Amazing experience and I'm really glad I didn't swap this for a safer earth-bound option! The chaps at the airfield were wonderful, so helpful and made it a really good experience - even taking care of my husband who was on-hand to video/photograph the event.

This was a 60th birthday gift for my husband and he really enjoyed the day. The flight took off and was able to fly to our home and our local area which gave him wonderful views of places never seen from the air before. Was also able to take the controls of the aircraft for some of the airtime which was a real first for him.
