Fantastic day of golf; great session in the range followed by 9 enjoyable holes on the Priory course. I took away a few really helpful pointers, most notable the advice on approach play with my wedges!
The Devil Is In The Detail
I received this golf day as a 60th birthday present and it was the best day's tuition I have ever had. Nothing is left to chance by Red Letter Days when it comes to giving you the experience of a lifetime. Nothing was too much trouble for both the PGA professional and his support staff or the Marriott Hotel staff.
What A Fantastic Golf Day
What a great day, 4 holes in the morning followed by video analysis and range tuition then a great lunch and playing the whole course with the pro in the afternoon. Great value, just a round of golf at this course can cost more that I paid for the whole day. Tim the Golf pro was excellent, can't wait to play there again.
The day was memorable in so many ways: a lovely venue, friendly staff, very knowledgable golf pro who expertly spotted improvements which were achievable on the day, easygoing fellow Red Letter Day participants - all of different levels of skill but eager to get the most from this great experience. However, I couldn't have asked for a better start to the afternoon's round of golf when I parred the first hole - quite an achievement for someone with a 28 handicap and in front of an audience of much better players. So a combination of beginner's luck with the expert advice of the Club Pro! Whilst not being quite able to maintain this fantastic start for the rest of the round,I did play to a much higher standard than usual which made it a real Red Letter Day for me and one I shall remember for a long time.
Very Worthwhile And Enjoyable Session!
The pro gave us individual feedback and coaching rather than treating us as a group, which was great, as our playing levels varied a lot! We had a good session on the range, followed by chipping, bunkers and putting. Nice lunch and then a round of golf - great!
From the start to the end of the day the experience was fantastic. The tuition was first-class, the facilities brilliant and a fabulous day was had by all. I would recommend this 100% to any golfer looking to improve their game. Worth every penny.
Following a very friendly and efficient booking of my event, I was thrilled to have the sun shining on my golf day. The setting of Hanbury Manor is truly stunning. The PGA pro was exceptional and had an immediate positive impact on my game. I then went and played 18 holes and cut 10 shots off my game. Awesome!

A Wonderful Way To Improve Your Golf
I had an utterly wonderful experience from start to finish, with pleasant company and fantastic surroundings. Our coach was first class, clear agenda, fun with learning and attention to each of our needs. After a fine lunch we all got 9 holes out on the East Course, which was an added bonus. My hat is tipped to the organisers and the golf pro, my expectations were exceeded. A fantastic gift.

I enjoyed an great day out. The coaching was first class, I learnt a lot and the organisation was excellent. I would certainly recommend the this Red Letter Day to anyone contemplating a golfing present to a partner or friend.

Great Value And Just An Amazing Experience
What can you say about the day? It really was a fantastic experience. The venue and weather were just perfect. What made the day so special was the people who attended and the golf pro (Simon). He was just fantastic. I've had many lessons but none as enjoyable as this. He was very knowledgeable but most of all he made you feel so relaxed. He really helped me with one or two things to improve my game. I know feel so much more confident playing any course. Would not change anything about the day. I would recommend this to any keen golfer.
Phil, the Pro, was great. Very amiable and looked after us all. Everyone was worried our swings were going to be completely torn apart but it wasn't like that at all. We addressed one part of the swing, set-up and the grip. We had a very useful session on chipping and bunker play, which will save me many shots on a round. Then we were out on the course with Phil showing us course management.
Great day from start to finish, even the weather was supplied as requested! The coaching was 1st class and we were made to feel welcome and special by all members of the club and hotel staff. The course was in great condition and with a little bit more practice (and luck) my game will be too!
Felt Like Tiger, Shame I Wasn't Playing Like Him!
A really good experience for golfers of most levels. This day helped my golf no end with a morning of range tuition, ending with 9 holes with the pro, who followed us in his buggy giving useful tips, pointers and hints!!
Excellent Day Was Enjoyed By All
A truly excellent day was enjoyed by myself and my golfing buddy. From the moment of arriving in reception at 9am until departure at 5, we were provided with first class service. The PGA instructor delivered a first class programme of instruction that I am sure will improve my golfing skills.

I enjoyed a great day in a lovely setting. Special mention must go to Tim the PGA Pro for hosting and running the event where everone was made to feel welcome and really enjoyed the day. His clear explanations of the techniques and strategies used in golf really helped. This along with your swing captured and analysed on video and an outstanding lunch really did make the day one to remember.
Best Golf Coaching - Ever
David at the Marriott Country Club in Worsley, Manchester is probably the best golf coach I have ever come across, I learnt more in 5 hours with him than I have in the previous 100 hours I've used in golf lessons elsewhere; great fun day, good company, and a massive improvement in my game already.
Excellent Day - One To Remember!!!
This was a marvellous experience.Our pro put us at ease and made the whole day very enjoyable, the individual coaching that he gave us was first rate and I know it will make abig difference to my game. Other things that went to making it such an enjoyable day were the facilities and the surroundings along with the other course members, who like myself all said what a great day they had. The one disappointment was that it had to end! Many thanks to all concerned for their efforts in making it such a memorable day for me.
Most Useful Day On The Golf Course I've Ever Spent
From start to finish this was a great day out. Our PGA Pro was a great coach and simplified the process of adjusting our swings and grips to improve our game - it was the most useful day of coaching I've had in my golf career and the day was worth it for that alone. After an excellent morning of tuition, the day was capped off with 9 holes around the stunning Forst of Arden course. A brilliant experience.

The venue was good and the weather was superb. The coach was very good; he remembered all the names and made a special point of picking one obvious weakness in each of us and then working on it without making us feel like lepers.

Fantastic Day, Would Love To Do It Again!
The day was excellent, the golf pro was really welcoming, helpful and accommodating. The facilities were superb, the tuition was great and all of us really enjoyed the day. The golf pro was able to identify some weaknesses in my game that I was able to think about whilst playing on the excellent course in the afternoon. Now I just have to practice a lot to rectify these issues!
For Golfers Hungry To Learn, A Day To Savour!!
Sitting anxiously around the coffee table on our arrival I wasn't sure what to expect. Meeting and talking with other golfers and the pro, it was quite apparent we all shared the same enthusiasm to improve. After a lengthy session on the range, being tutored independently, we were all able to see the video of our swings over lunch. A picture paints a thousand words!! 9 holes around the championship course at Hanbury Manor under the guidance of the pro was remarkably relaxed, giving all of us the opportunity to attempt to put it in to practice!! A great present. Good company and an excellent pro. Thanks again.

Very Helpful Advice And Tips
This was a great day out which has the potential to improve my golf. The combination of tips from the pro, review of my current swing through video and the opportunity to practise the suggested swing changes were extremely useful. I liked the emphasis placed on enjoying the play in the afternoon, rather than trying to take swing changes onto the course.
Our teacher watched us all hit balls on the range before giving us an individual piece of advice to work on before giving us a lesson on aim and alignment. We were then allowed to practice this before having a lesson on the Explanar golf machine. This involves swinging a heavy roller bar along a preset line meant to be the correct plane for swinging a golf club. It is impossible to use this device incorrectly so we had immediate feedback on how the correct golf swing should feel like. Upon returning to hit balls we all commented on how good it was and we all improved as a result. We then had lessons on bunker play and chipping, being given time to practice each of these. After lunch we took our newly gained knowledge to the course for 18 holes with our instructor walking with us for the first nine holes. I know my game has improved as a result. Watch out Tiger Woods!!

Great Experience In Wonderful Surroundings
An experience which provided knowledge which will benefit my game and hopefully improve my handicap. The professional was able to provide valuable tips and practical assistance with solving problems with my game. The most enjoyable part was to play nine holes in the afternoon where coaching was given on course management and how to get out of difficult positions.
