Rowhill Grange Utopia Spa
A spa day with my new wife was a gift from a friend. Rowhill had really splendid staff, helpful and smiling, now a spa isn't something I'd usually go for but we spent the day messing about in the three pools and feeling throughly relaxed, great fun!

Alexander House Spa was exactly what I needed to kick those January Blues. The reception staff who greet and show you around the spa were extremely helpful and set the tone for our relaxing day. We chose not to book any treatments but I don't think that affected our day in any way as there is plenty of things to do or not if you wish to just laze by the pool. We were shown around the gym and given a list of classes that were on throughout the day if you did decide you wanted to do something active but in our case our trainers didn't make it out of our bags. We spent the morning relaxing on loungers around the indoor pool which is dimly lit and really sets a relaxing atmosphere, in the sauna and steam room which are located in the changing area and then in the outdoor hot tub. After our gorgeous two course lunch we spent the afternoon in the quiet room reading and relaxing on the leather day beds they have which look out onto the grounds. I would definitely recommend this experience!

Rowhill Grange is the ideal place for a day of relaxation and escape from it all - everything has been thought through for you, everything is designed to make your time there stress-free and easy. It is only when you emerge back into world, to go home, that you really realise how successfully Rowhill Grange has been at transporting you away into a cocoon of bliss.

Lunch at Hadrian's Brasserie was really nice. It took quite a long time to arrive, but it was worth the wait. Drinks are very expensive here, so be warned! The spa itself was lovely and relaxing. Everything was as we had hoped for. We really liked the fact that the bar was self-service, to help yourself to tea and coffee throughout the day. The gym was very extensive for a hotel and even had boxing pads and TVs. Tip: after lunch, get tea in the spa area, as we had it in the restaurant, thinking it was included and then got charged £6 for 2 cups!

Me and my mum spent the day at the spa to relax in early December. The staff were lovely and the food delicious. We didn't have any treatments as we were happy to just swim, relax and read. The pool was never too busy, the heated beds were lovely and I had a great day bobbing in and out of the pool, sauna, and caldarium.

This is the perfect location for winding down and relaxing (after a visit to their well-equipped gym of course!). The facilities are first class, the staff are extremely polite, friendly and helpful. Lunch was really good, cooked perfectly and presented well. Tea, coffee and water plus homemade flapjacks were freely available which was a nice touch. I think my favourite has to be the outside hot tub in the japanese garden - gorgeous!!! Overall a fantastic day!

After weeks of hard work and tension in the shoulders me & my sister left Rowhill utterly relaxed! The treatments were amazing and would definitely recommend those who want to relax and unwind for a day...

I had a lovely relaxing day with my mum. Beautiful place and soi much nicer than the last spa we went to. Staff were ery attentive, really clean and totally chilled!! A great experience that i can't wait to repeat!

We arrived at 9.30 to be greeted by very friendly & welcoming staff. We found the sauna was not hot and the swimming pool area was lacking in beds/chairs. The relaxation room was actually to quiet and maybe some low music would be helpful. However it is such a lovely setting overall and the staff & most facilities were wonderful and we thoroughly enjoyed our day.

Me and my husband visited the Utopia Spa in the end of October. This was my treat for him for his birthday, as he works long hours and overtimes. When we arrived we were offered refreshments, tea or coffee, flapjack, the staff was very friendly they showed us around. There was a good option of a 2 course lunch, we could pick from 5 main meal and 5 desserts. At the pools was not busy, so we did not felt disturbed by other customers. It was a great relaxing day just for me and for my husband. Only one thing what I would mention , I ordered a glass of wine (125 ml) to my lunch, which costed us £8.50. I think the prices of the drinks in the hotel restaurant are not reasonable. But I will 100% go back next year

Arrived at Rowhill at 9.00am had a fantastic spa day. Staff very friendly well worth another visit, really enjoyed the day!

Spa day was a lovely experience, only downside was the lunch. Vegetarian meal especially, not as described on menu. A sandwich or baguette would have been better for lunch if offered on menu!

Lovely day in a beautiful setting. The staff were terrific! Incredibly professional, friendly and helpful. Lovely ladies giving the Indian head massage treatment to myself and my sister.The facilities are wonderful; we particularly enjoyed the hot tub outside but the variety of water massage treatments, sauna and steam room kept us very happy all day! I was absolutely exhausted when I got home and had the best night's sleep in a long time. I will definitely go back as soon as I can!

What a perfect way to spend a lazy Sunday, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit from start to finish. All the girls are friendly and happy to help. Lunch was lovely and so nice that it was included in the day. Can't wait to return
