Great day out, very relaxing. Only negative is that there is not enough sun beds so it's a bit of a fight in that area. Wonderful place and nice staff though. And great facilities otherwise.

Champneys Henlow Grange Health Farm
Been here several times, love it and wouldnt go to any other spa, only this time was a bit dissapointing as alot of staff were off for holidays and sickness so we couldnt book the extra treatments we wanted so we spent alot of time in the pool which was a bit boring after 2 hours. Regardless, wonderful place, very nice staff, cannot recommend enough.

From the time we arrived until the time we left the service we received was fantastic. Complimentary tea or coffee on arrival with a brief description about where everything is and treatment times etc. There were lots of people at the resort but it wasnt overcrowded and the atmosphere was still very relaxed. The facial was an incredible experience and the therapist explained what products she was using and almost tempted me to buy them all! The manicure was only 25 minutes long but really needed to be longer. Because time was limited you get a choice of nail polish or nail buff but I would have prefered to have had both. Having said this if you opt for the polish you cant use the steam room or pool afterwards for a considerable length of time, so best to have a manicure as late in the day as possible. The food was very tasty and the service in the restaurant was of a very high standard. My friend and I both enjoyed ourselves immensely and have booked to visit again next year.

Fantastic service from the minute we arrived. We had a head and back massage booked in our package which was wonderful. The spa faciliites are brilliant could not have asked for a more relaxing day.

During the day we were looked after really well by the staff. The spas facilities are first rate and we simply had trouble fitting everything in ..(we missed out the gym)..loads to enjoy and relaxing is the key we were well chilled on our drive home. First rate & we'd certainly go back again....great tonic.

From the moment we arrived at Henlow we were made to feel special - staff, facilities and lunch all excellent, could not fault anything - a day to remember and cherish.

It was a great day however the treatments were very short 25 mins each - I wish I had of known before getting there as I would have upgraded the treatments to an hour as that is really what you need for a facial and massage - even the therapists agreed!! Would have been nice if there had been some where to relax as a couple. There was somewhere in the seperate changing rooms but then we would not have been together. Think if we had ben staying theer would not have been a problem. Food at lunch time was excellent - would recommend this

Slieve Donard Resort and Spa
My sister and I spent a fabulous day at the Slieve Donard Hotel Spa in Newcastle. We started off in the well equipped (and very spacious) gym, followed by our treatments - a full body massage and a delightful facial, complete with pink moisturising scalp mud! We then enjoyed a light lunch in the cafe next to the swimming pool. This was the only reason why my review is not 5 stars - the cafe service wasn't up to the high standard set in the spa. Lunch was very tasty though. Then back up to the spa to curl up in the relaxation room. This is a real treat, warm and cosy with beds that you can alter the shape of (reminiscent of the Bart Simpson sketch of "cloud goes up, cloud goes down"). After 2 hours there, it was time for us to head home, relaxed and happy.

It was the first time I had been on a spa day with my boyfriend - normally these kind of days are spent with friends!!! Both him and myself had an amazing day, everyone was lovely, the food was fantastic and it was an unforgetable experience. Definitely going to make a return visit!

Hotel excellent from the gentleman that opened the main hotel door, to the reception area to the spa and lunch. You really felt that you were on a spa experience- definitely recommend this experience at this hotel.

The facilities and service were excellent and the staff were very professional and attentive. Not all treatments were available on all days due to some therapists only working certain days so worth checking in advance. Overall though a great day relaxing and taking time away from the rat race.

A day on cloud nine. From arrival to departure, we were looked after, scrumptiously fed and thoroughly pampered. What a shame it had to end. Recommend Red Letter Days as perfect gift idea as you can 'taylor mold' your gift from package given.
