A friendly greeting on arrival, and it got even better. The advisor worked hard to fulfil my needs whilst persuading me to step out of my comfort zone, and I liked the result. Money well spent by my generous son.

I loved every minute - from the cheery greeting and mouth-watering pastries to the makeover at the end. It was relaxed and fun throughout. I tried on some wonderful clothes and purchased clothes I would never have thought of trying on previously. Perfect experience.

From the moment I approached a member of staff at the Solihull John Lewis store and told them why I was there, I was treated like royalty. Liz, the fashion adviser, was a wonderful woman who made me feel really comfortable and made lots of great suggestions. She certainly knew her merchandise. Kelly, who did the mini makeover was delightful. Her advice was spot on and again she made me feel really good whilst giving lots of useful tips. The staff made this experience really lovely. I would definitely recommend this store.

I have always found choosing new clothes difficult, but the informal chat at the beginning of my Pampering Shopping Experience made me feel comfortable and relaxed into trying on outfits I would never have dreamed of trying. The end result was 3 new outfits and a confident new me. The make up make over was also a real treat and didn't look too much. But light and natural. All in all an experience I will certainly do again.

An excellent surprise present from my daughters for my significant birthday. The presentation and packaging of the paperwork was good. The administration; how to register and choice of venue was easy to understand. The whole day was personalized by the Red Letter team with a text the day prior, wishing me a great time. On the day I was made to feel very welcome by the Fashion Advisor. The time just flies and you need a full 3 hours. Beware there is a temptation to spend more money than you planned !

My husband purchased this Red Letter for me for my Birthday and it was a great gift. The lady at John Lewis asked what I was after; a new look, an outfit for an event etc. I told her what I wanted and she took me round the store to pick up loads of different items and colours that I wouldn't normally go for. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I then went to a Bobbi Brown concession and had a make over and the staff there were really nice and welcoming. Great gift for anyone who loves fashion and make up!

This was a fun day! I have never had any fashion advice before and have not had my makeup done by someone else since my wedding day (nearly 19 years ago!) I enjoyed being able to browse at clothes in private and obtaining some fresh ideas. I did not want a coffee and pastry and the team were very obliging in meeting my request for a cup of tea and a mid morning banana!! The fashion adviser was friendly and pleasant. My morning was topped off by being able to have lunch with my sisters - something I do not remember ever doing as we all live so distant from one another.

A very enjoyable and relaxing way to shop! The advisor called me the day before to confirm the appointment, which I thought was a very nice touch. The advisor was helpful and selected a good range of clothes for me to try, while I relaxed in the Suite. The mini makeover was a nice way to round off the visit and I left glowing.

Wonderful way to spend an afternoon, drinking tea and eating treats whilst someone brought me a selection of beautiful dresses and accessories. The advisor really knew her stuff, selecting outfits that were on trend and flattering to my shape. I love the outfit and I am sure it will get some use at all the weddings we are attending this summer.

I needed to update my wardrobe after battling my way through 2 pregnancies in 3 years. I can't shop with my kids, they have no patience. This only took 2 hours and out of it I had my entire spring summer wardrobe sorted. Would definitely recommend to all new mums!! I was very impressed how the personal shopper could pitch the type of clothes / budget to spend without really having more than 5 mins chat. I wouldn't have said the make over added to the experience though, but that may be personal preference.

A really useful, helpful and enjoyable experience. The fashion advisor was great, listened to what I said and produced some great solutions just pushing the boundaries which is what I needed. Lovely to have your make up done too although products were way out of my price range.
