Whether looking to change a style or find perfect new season pieces, this is the ideal experience for anyone who loves fashion. Enjoy £225 to spend in-store, with the help of an experienced John Lewis Fashion Advisor, who'll talk through the latest trends, accessories and beauty products. Begin with a private consultation, relaxing over tea or coffee and a pastry and discuss ideas with the advisor. Then head out to John Lewis's fabulous fashion and beauty departments or, if preferable, relax in a suite and the advisor will select a range of items to browse in private. A mini-makeover with a make-up artist and a small goody bag are also included.
Book during standard store opening times (usually seven days a week), subject to availability. Opening hours vary between stores and not all stores take appointments on Sundays. We recommend booking at least six weeks in advance.
This experience is for women aged 16 and over. Please check location as to which stores are able to cater for plus sizes.
The experience will usually last two to three hours depending on your requirements.
This is a one-to-one consultation.
It is not possible to bring people along to the consultation, although friends are welcome in the store afterwards.
Please note that there are no cash or voucher alternatives and change cannot be given: the full £225 must be spent on the day on fashion and beauty products. Mini-makeover brands vary by store.
A very enjoyable experience. Asked for help with buying dresses and every one the Advisor brought in, was not something I would have chosen. It was a wonderful surprise to find how much I loved nearly all her selection. My only complaint was that I was not offered the Coffee and Danish as promised, or the small goody bag.
Made to feel extra special by staff at John Lewis's in Liverpool one, the personal shopper was very approachable and down to earth and really took time to listen to what I wanted. Took all the stress out of clothes shopping! We had a complimentary cappuccino whilst browsing and trying on a selection of outfits the stylist had picked out from the shop floor. She gave an honest and frank opinion and there was no high pressure selling involved at all. I had a fab makeover from Dior -taught me the perfect feline flick!
Very successful shopping at John Lewis. Got the clothes I needed for a forthcoming do, great to have armfuls of clothes brought to me and have honest (but tactful ! )opinions re size, style, fit, colours from my personal stylist and also from the 2 people I'd taken with me . Lots of space for us all, massive changing room. So after I'd picked my clothes, and said goodbye to my stylist, onto Elizabeth Arden for a quick cleanse and a lot of make up applied. Then we left the store to have lunch and shop elsewhere, back a while later for tea & cake using vouchers we'd been given earlier.I've never tried on so many clothes all at once but it was very worthwhile- and successful
Lovely day really enjoyed
Overall an enjoyable experience, if I was doing it again I would defintely like the opportunity to walk aroud the fashion department and look at the variety of makes available. This was not offered and perhaps it would have introduced me to new makes. The min- make over was very useful!
This was a birthday present from my partner. On arrival my fashion advisors were very polite and courteous and we had a friendly chat about fashion trends. Following that, the fashion advisors went away to the shop floor to pick various outfits. It was refreshing to have new ideas as I felt I had got stuck in a rut. I was particularly pleased with the jeans and the boots that they had picked out for me. Make-up was done at Clarins and I couldn't fault what they'd done. I received a complimentary voucher for tea/coffee and pastry/cake for two at the John Lewis cafe, to be used at any time. My only misgiving was that I did not receive a goody bag during my shopping experience, and I also spent over budget, because they had picked so many nice things for me, though that is not a criticism on their part!
I had a great time. The member of staff was very welcoming and really listened to what I said about what I was looking for. She gave lots of advice and couldn't be more helpful. Again the makeover was great and the member of staff gave me lots of tips and advice. This is typical of the service that John Lewis provides.
John Lewis personal shopper day. Great service by Alison who chose items I wouldn't normally have tried. I have a lovely new wardrobe!
I arrived at John Lewis and there was a bit of confusion on where I was to go but this was probably my fault as they had called me two days prior to explain things to me but I was in town and couldn't really hear what was said. Everyone at John Lewis was really nice though and we got to the right department in the end. Anna who was my fashion adviser was extremely nice and brought my sister and I tea coffee and lovely pasties to enjoy. Then Anna brought several outfits for me to try on and choose from, I chose a few items to purchase and then was taken to the Estee Lauder counter to have my make up done. The girl on there was very nice and asked me lots of questions about what I would like my make up to be and she did exactly what I asked for, however I did not receive the goodie bag that was supposed to be part of the experience. The girl did say she would ask about it and perhaps get something posted out to me so we will see if I get anything. Overall it was a great day.
I was extremely well looked after by John Lewis at Cambridge - the lady who was my personal shopper was excellent. A lovely day out.
Enjoyed the day immensely, Fiona was very helpful and not pushy at all. She listened to my comments and suggested some really good purchases. Enjoyed the Estee Lauder makeover, felt very glamorous when I left!
I booked the John Lewis shopping experience for my mum's birthday. We had an absolutley fab day and enjoyed a cup of tea whilst the assistant picked out a rail of clothes for her to try. Although some of the clothes were not what she would usually pick, she looked fantastic and got some great items. We both got a lovely goody bag at the end of the day and she also had a make over at Bobby Brown, what a treat. One thing to note is that the experience strictly states you must go alone but the Bluewater store were more than happy for me to be there and help my mum pick the items.
When I went to the shopping experience I had a bad back. The lady in the John Lewis Store in Edinburgh was very understanding and brought all the clothes she thought suitable to me to try on.
A brilliant experience, the staff were very professional yet friendly; who listened to my requirements. Resulting in me coming away with a great selection of clothes some of which I would not have chosen.
The fashion advisor was excellent. I was able to choose a lovely dress, the mini make-up artist was good, done my face well, very helpful in her advice about make -up, highly recommended.
I was treated to this gift by my mum after having my second child, once he turned one and I had some sort of figure back it was great to be pampered with the latest fashions and a budget to spend! I felt completely pampered and was treated to a makeover at the end too!
Treated like a queen, no hassle or stress. Would defo do again.
I was slightly wary of this experience but the in house staff quickly put me at ease. Their expertise introduced me to a new look that I would not have previously considered.
Very fun day out trying on and choosing all the clothes I wanted. Very pleased with this.
I was pretty nervous but by the time I left I felt great thank you it was a lovely day
