This was the best present I have ever had! Shortly after takeoff the pilot allowed me to fly for the full half hour, with a guided tour around the area of Bedford. Thank you very much and I may well take up the hobby of microlighting!
I expected the microlight flight to be bumpy as it was a fairly breezy day, but we had a smooth take-off and landing, and the pilot controlled it wonderfully, enabling me to get a bird's eye view of the QE2 Bridge, and Canary Wharf and the O2 Arena in the distance!
Great activity, excellent and friendly flying school. The venue had a really family orientated and relaxed atmosphere and provided a breathtkaing experience for a nervous flyer. A great way to cure those flying heebee-geebees. I definitely want another go at flying.
Great Memories, 6 Star Rating!
The instructor who took me up in the microlight was superb. Everything was explained and talked about. From the scenery to what all the controls do and what makes us fly (I even got a shot!!). The flight itself was truly amazing, in fact there needs to be a 6-star rating as 5 stars aren't enough! It's really something that can't be described so my advice is to just get up there and experience it. I even managed to get a few great photos. Thanks for an unforgettable time.
Fantastic Day, Changed My Perspective On Life!
Our family had a wonderful Red Letter Day, even those not taking part were able to lap up the atmosphere, truly memorable experience that money CAN buy courtesy of Red Letter Days!!
Approaching the airfield I could feel the buzz and on seeing aircraft looping the loop I was in another place. The sight of the microlight on the ground and watching it take off filled me with awe as to how such a small craft could perform. Once in the air it's your turn to take the stick - it's all yours. To the left, to the right, increase speed, follow that bird, what a thrill, didn't want it to end. Up and down with the thermals, not like a holiday jet, better!

Great Fun, Professional, Scary!
I was interested in taking microlighting up as a permanent hobby, and consequently the instructor went out of his way to show me the capability of the microlight and gave me the maximum time to take control myself. At the end of the flight I felt like I could have taken off and flown on my own, goodness knows how I would have landed though. Once you get over having nothing but a small wing and a bit of fibreglass between you and a 4000ft drop, with the wind and thermal currents doing their best to shake you loose from your seat, and an enthusiastic instructor who responds to your question "Yes, that's right, if the engine fails you do just glide!" (proceeding at the same time to turn off the engine to demonstrate) you can really start to relax and enjoy the view. Heartily recommended!
Instructor was great and allowed me to fly the craft for prity much the entire flight. Patient with me getting to grips with controls (me not wanting to fall out of the sky like a kite!) and well informed about local area. Had a bit of a play at the end and a fly past for pictures. Memorable day.
A fantastic birthday experience, flying around the Bedfordshire countryside in a microlight on a beautiful sunny day! I have a number of birthday gifts that I have to organise in the near future ... and they're all going to be flying in microlights. But, don't tell them will you!
I was extremely impressed with every aspect of the experience. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The instructor even sang as we shot through the sky! Everything was professional and well prepared. I would most definitely recommend it.
The Perfect Thing To Do On A Bright Winter's Day
It was quite special being up there; the sea to your left, snow-capped mountains to the right and midget sheep far below. Instructor was great.

This was a fantastic day out, a total adrenaline rush, couldn't believe it. The instructor was fab, gave me all information I needed and explained where we were - amazing views.
