Orient-Express British Pullman Lunch or Tea for Two

The carriages were full of comfort, the service was second to none and the food was amazing - so much of it and every bit was excellent. I was thoroughly spoiled for the day - to be recommended to all.

This was one of the best days of our lives. It was a wedding present and was a perfect day that we will never forget, so much so that we want to go the whole way to Venice one day. The food, service and atmosphere were second to none and the weather was superb. Just for one day we felt like royalty, we even had the band to welcome us to and from Folkestone! Well done to the Orient Express - a day we would recommend to anybody.

We were welcomed as we arrived with great aplomb from staff in period dress and character. Our carriage was very luxurious and comfortable with a fabulously laid out table with all the trimmings. Service, the food and the wine/champagne was great (my wife said it was the best piece of lamb she has ever tasted). Once the train was on its way, we relaxed and chatted as the countryside slid past. Occasionally some characters would drop by and tell us a little bit about the history of the Orient Express/Pullman carriages and some more historical and, dare I say, salacious goings on in the past ... a quick stop to experience oysters and a period band and then a snoozy journey back to London Victoria. What a lovely way to spend a Friday! Full Marks.

Brilliant, fabulous, a day that will be remembered for a very long time. My disabled son was made to feel at ease and all the staff really looked after us all so well. There was nothing to find fault with. Food, service, train - in fact a remarkable day and one that we will most certainly try and do again. Thank you all so much for the great organisation and your help in making our a day so perfect.

We had a fantastic time. Food was excellent. Service was A Class. Journey extremely comfortable. It was so good we are hoping to travel again soon to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary with a large party of friends. We would like to journey to Paris or Venice next time to extend our pleasure and enjoyment of travel on the Orient Express. Absolute luxury.

A fabulous day out from start to finish. The trip was gorgeous and the staff on the Orient Express could not have been more helpful. Felt like royalty!
