This was a birthday present for my partner as we both needed a little quality time to relax away from the usual day to day stresses. Champneys provided just that with an excellent array of facilities and treatments available to please anyone with a taste for the nicer things in life. It is no surprise to see why everybody at champneys is floating around in their robes. The treatments available are at such a high standard that value for money is a certainty. I had booked for us to have the 'Rasul' treatment during our stay. This treatment in itself was different to say the least but at the same time wonderfully relaxing and left us both feeling silky smooth. Add this to an aromatherapy back massage and use of the swimming pool, sauna and steam rooms and this day was in every way perfect! Would recommend highly for anybody who needs to recharge those batteries!

We enjoyed our first wedding anniversary relaxing at Champneys Forest Mere. A gentle swim, a steam in the a sauna and a fantastic experience in the Rasul. The combination of mud and steam left us both feeling soft and sensual!!! We would both recommend this for any couple!

Absolutely loved this!! Originally purchased this for my boyfriend's birthday...but we went together the day before my birthday - so I worked this one out perfectly!! Perfect day - getting there and back was a bit of a nightmare, but we were soon made to relax! The Rasul Experience was amazing, and the Heat Experience and the ICE Room - AWH.. ...Oh and the relaxation room - loved it!!

Booking our day with Red letter Days, was so easy and straight forward. It was simple to get the date we wished to use our experience. From the minute we drove up to the spa, the view was amazing, a wonderful start to a wonderful day. We were greeted on arrival by a lovely receptionist. A tour of the building, and then it all began! The atmosphere is so lovely and relaxing, everyone is there to chill out, which helped us to switch off. The Rasul treatment for 2 was fabulous, although very hot! We both felt cleansed and refreshed when we came out. The staff made us feel so special throughout the experience. The opportunity to use the spa facilites is amazing, swimming, gym, steam rooms, the list goes on. We were also able to book extra treatments on our stay, which just made the day even more special. The staff and their attention to detail made our day a most wonderful experience. Thank you to everyone at Forest Mere for helping us totally switch off from the world for a day.

My partner and I were very excited to come to Champneys Forest Mere as it would be our first ever day at a spa. We were greeted at the check in desk and given our robes and slippers (though we didn't recieve a refreshing drink on arrival!) and were shown around the facilities. We were then left to do as we liked until our appointment for our main treatment in the rasul, so we sampled the gym, pool, sauna, and steam room. The steam room in the womens spa was excellent, with flowery infusions like jasmin, rose and lavender, it was heavenly. For our main treatment, we were greeted by our therapist who showed us the muds and how the treatment was going to work. She then left us alone to lather ourselves up in the mud and started the steam in the rasul. It was a fantastic experience and the moisturisers for afterwards are gorgeous. We then had the lunch buffet (additional cost but worth every penny) and returned our robes and checked out. I'd go back again, it was really a very lovely day!

The Rasul treatment was a birthday gift i was really looking forward to the treatment and having the use of the pool and sauna! So what a wounderful surprise to find out there was four different saunas, ice cave, hydro pools, jacuzzi & chill out lounge! We had the most intimate relaxing adult time, fantastic!

"Wow." The Rasul experience is a great way to relax and unwind. Helped by the great surroundings and very helpful staff at Thoresby Hall. After the experience both me and my partner felt like a Million Dollars. Highly recommended 10/10.

We have chosen the perfect venue, from the staff to the venue, the experience was perfect. The staff was very welcoming and professionnal, we had a tour of the premises first and we have been explained everything properly so we felt at ease from the start. The Rasul Steam was a great experience. Being able to use the spa facilities afterwards was an added bonus!!! I want the same present for my birthday this year!!! What an experience! Was a great day, really relaxing! As well as the treatment we had lunch and made use of the spa facilities. A change from normal busy life. A relaxing treat well deserved and will do again. Would recommend booking other treatments like a massage as well a great treat worth every penny..........great!

The whole day was better than we expect from getting their till we left. We had an amazing day and was so private and romantic. After we felt very relaxed and lucky to have had chance to participate in the day. The mud and the steam room is such an lovely idea so worth every penny and more.

My husband and I went to Wildmoor Spa for this experience on our 5th Anniversary. The Rasul is amazing! So unique and such a romantic experience to share as a couple. It brought us closer together and was a great treat in terms of skin conditioning as well. The spa facilities and staff are excellent. We loved the day!
