My wife gave me the Rally Driving experience for a Christmas gift. I was so excited and booked the day for the 7th of Jan. The day was amazing from start to finish. There was plenty of behind the wheel action, adrenaline filled slides and handbrake turns! Thank you for a fantastic experience.

With so many wonderful gift ideas to choose from I had my work cut out selecting the perfect day out for my Sons 18th Birthday. In the end I chose the half day rally driving experience at Chipping Norton. From the moment we arrived at the venue staff were friendly, helpful and courtious at all times. The weather was kind to us although there was a lovely warm cabin with viewing areas for us spectactors to keep warm and get a cuppa if we wished. My son had a super time driving the rally car, a ford puma, his instructor taught him the rights and wrongs of handling a rally car and before we knew it he was flying round the course!! My other son and I had a passenger ride at the end of the session which was great! To cap it all a GREAT DAY had by us all and have recommended this venue already to friends. SUPER.

What a superb day.....I have to say that the venue was great and the team their were fearless, A really great experience as you are taught all the basic skills to rip a rallycar around the circuit. Then you are let loose andbecome that rally master, powersliding round corners, performing faultless doughnuts and amazing handbrake turns......... Just when you think you've mastered it all the professionals take you for a spin which is truly fantastic ! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Felt that the session was just the right mix of safety briefing (short), and one-to-one tuition. Also liked the fact that although our circuit timings were taken, it was not the main focus of the day - learnt alot about using power to get past obstacles (rather than braking), and to trust in the instructor when told to put my foot down!

A thoroughly enjoyable experience, truly a Red Letter Day. The organisation was spot on and the actual day was well run and fun. The difference about this experience for me was the 1-2-1 nature of the instruction. Only you and the instructor were in the car for the driving, and you never got the feeling that you were being neglected. Some of the driving techniques introduced will make me a better driver, and hopefully make me think more when behind the wheel. I would definitely recommend this experience to others, and am contemplating going back for a further session.

I had a great morning rally driving at silverstone- there were 3 sections of track to learn techniques including hand brake turns and powersliding. First the instructor takes you round the course, before you take the wheel and do left hand turning, right hand turning, and then a overall lap putting everything into practice. I would definitely recommend upgrading to the full day so that you get more track time. Doing half a day only enables one fast lap, and it would of been even better to give this another go and get longer in the car. Only downside to the day is that there is up to 6 people per car, so you have to wait your turn!

Thruxton Motorsport Centre
I chose Thruxton as it is the fastest circuit in the UK and I liked the selection of vehicles that we got to drive. The instructors were very helpful and the track had been set-up with helpful markers to aid our breaking and to keep to the racing line. The single seaters were the best part of the day though - I could have spent all afternoon on the track! On our day, Tiff Needell was also at the circuit and you could purchase his time to take you round the track. I couldn't afford it, but as part of the experience package, I got to have a flying lap with a Dutch rally driver which was a lot of fun! There were also many other super cars on display which you could purchase race laps in if you wished. All-in-all, a very enjoyable day and I have some professional photos as a souvenir of my time on the track. I look forward to my next birthday surprise.

The whole day was conducted in a cordial manner with a great group of people, Andy the instructor entertained and instructed in a brilliant and efficient manner, the car was well kitted out for the task at hand the office and briefing room were clean tidy and well appointed and served great warm snacks and coffee. If anyone wants to try their hand at rallying this is certainly the place to try in safe and friendly surroundings.
