    Whether or not you've driven a car before, this is your chance to get the hang of driving - all cars are designed with safety in mind to give you the perfect balance of power and control. You'll start with a briefing about the car, when you'll be taught about different clutch control, steering and braking techniques. Then you can take the vehicle out with an expert instructor calling the corners as you power your way around, perfecting those sideway slides you've seen on TV. You don't need any driving experience - but a love of speed definitely helps! Finish with a certificate presentation.

    • Drive a brilliant proper rally car, Corsa, Ka or Astra!
    • Twenty to thirty minutes rally driving at either of two venues, to put the car through its paces
    • No driving experience necessary - full instruction is included
    • Finish with a thrilling high speed passenger ride

    Availability

    Availability depends on venue and all bookings are subject to availability.

    Participant Guidelines

    Min age is 10 or 11, max is 17. Min height is 4'2'' - 4'6'', max is 6'1'' - 6'6'' and max weight is 16 or 18 stone (restrictions vary depending on venue, please check). All participants must be accompanied by an adult (minimum age 18).

    Weather

    Driving may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions (e.g. snow, ice, heavy rain) which would make driving at speed dangerous.

    Duration

    Your experience will last for around two to three hours, including a briefing, tuition with an instructor, 20 - 30 minutes driving time and a debrief.

    Numbers On Day

    Any briefings will be shared, and all tuition takes place on a one-to-one basis.

    Spectators

    You can bring one free spectator along in Yorkshire and unlimited numbers in Oxfordshire. Children must be accompanied at all times and everyone must stay within designated viewing areas and observe the safety instructions. No pets can be admitted.

    Dress Code

    Dress comfortably and warmly with trainers rather than heavy boots. A helmet will be provided.

    A truly great experience for my boys (13 & 15 year olds). They have NO driving experience at all, but were doing handbrake turns by the end of it. The instructors are very friendly and helpful. It can be very muddy there, so use appropriate footwear.

    Our Son George enjoyed his 13th birthday treat at Great Tew, Junior Rally Driving fulfilling his ambition to drive a rally car... The venue was excellent and the staff very professional. The whole family including Grandparents thoroughly enjoyed themselves a great day out. George's face was beaming from ear to ear and he said that it was his best birthday treat ever!!!!!!!!

    I took my 12 and 14 year old sons and their 12 year old friend. The afternoon was fantastic from start to finish. I couldn't believe that they could drive straight away and with each new circuit they did, they improved exponentially. The host and drivers were excellent as was the venue in North Yorkshire (beautiful with the backdrop of the sea in the distance) and the track was perfect. Thank you very much it was a wonderful experience.

    This was a birthday present for my 16 year old son and it did not disappoint. The session was well run and the enthusiasm of the team made the day. Really enjoyable experience, a real must for anyone wanting to have some fun with nothing to hit except the odd cone.
