    Rothay Garden Hotel

The moment we entered the hotel we were treated with respect and dignity. our room was clean and well decorated and had am amazing balcony with the river running by. The food was the best I have ever tasted and the beautiful restaurant was the setting of a memorable evening. The spa was small but ample and kept exceptionally clean. I really am unable to complain about anything and have to admit I can be really hard to please. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.

    Rothay Garden Hotel

Spent 1 night at the Rothay Garden hotel. Good location just on edge of village and a good base to walk from. Staff very helpful and friendly and good room too. Only slight issue was that some courses at evening dinner (which was very good overall) were a little on the "warm" rather than "nice and hot" side. Apart from that, a great break!

    The Master Builder's House Hotel

I bought this for my husband's 60th Birthday weekend and we had a lovely relaxing time. The hotel is quite quirky and very quaint, staff are very friendly and the food was excellent. The location is beautiful and steeped in the history of the area. Including the Beaulieu tickets made it good value and we spent the whole of the next day there.

    Boscundle Manor

We spent a night at Boscundle Manor and were delighted with our getaway. After booking I saw that they allowed dogs on their website. I rang and they happily included our dogs (There's a small charge per dog) and upon arrival they brought us dog beds, bowls, blanket and treats. We stayed in the Jasmine cottage and enjoyed the amenities of the spa and Manor. They even said we could take the cover off the outdoor hot tub and fire it up after it had been covered over at 11.00pm. The staff were very helpful and personable and the 3 course dinner was an event in itself. All in all we had a wonderful time. Thank you Red Letter Days and Boscundle Manor.

    The Churchill Hotel

Superb all round experience, from the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome and immediately shown to a superb double room with all the facilities you would expect. The staff were very professional and friendly. This would be high on my list the next time I visit York as it is just a few strides away from the centre. Great value for money.

    Stanwell House Hotel

Stanwell House is a stylish boutique hotel that puts most five star hotels to shame. All the staff are very friendly and could not have done more to help make our stay so enjoyable. The food in the seafood restaurant was excellent and the breakfast was probably the best hotel breakfast I have had for many years - freshly cooked to order rather than the warm dried up buffet breakfast that so many hotels provide now.

The Oxford Thames Four Pillars Hotel

This is a really good hotel about 3 miles out of Oxford sat on the Thames. It was very easy to get in to town and was a good base for visiting all of the local attractions. The room, staff and food were excellent.
