Lovely hotel and good location
Enjoyed our visit, room was spacious and bed so comfortable! Pool was lovely and warm. Our meal at night was very good as was breakfast, with plenty to choose from. Staff were very friendly. We had a lovely stay and would visit again. Oh,and the views are beautiful.
Beautiful part of the country . Enjoyed our stay however hotel rooms need doing up to justify the price
I rate this Hotel as a five star, great staff wonderful food, nothing was too much trouble.
From the moment we arrived, the friendly welcome was warming- especially with 'we have upgraded you'. The room was 'WOW'. The facilities are amazing, a super pool, spa and exercise gym suits all. This is also highly suited as a family orientated Hotel, with delightful walks in the grounds overlooking the lake. The dinner was equally superb, and there was no hesitation in dealing with dietary requirements. As an anniversary gift it filled all the boxes in terms of situation, facilities and a lovely dinner. Totally fantastic a true Red Letter day. Exploring the quaint town of Marlow must put the cherry on the cake.
What a fantastic experience. Staff could not have been more helpful, upgraded our room with no charge. Bar staff charming, with helpful suggestions. Very happy to change the menu at dinnner, to accommodate dietary requirements. Great spa and swimming pool, staff always smiling and helpful. Thoroughly recommend hotel, well worth a visit.
Great service, lovely staff ,beautiful gardens and a delicious evening meal made for an enjoyable wedding anniversary
Beautiful room leading to deck where there were tables and umbrellas. Drinks on the deck in beautiful sunshine. Perfect. The meals were delicious. Beautifully prepared and served and tasted just as good as they looked. Owners and staff so friendly and helpful. Definitely a 10 out of 10 all round.
Northern culture mixed with northan charm gave me and my wife a fabulous night stay. On arrival we was greeted by smile from a young lady who was exceptional and nothing was to much trouble. We went to Sheffield to visit the fire and police museum and also popped to meadow hall for lunch we returned later than we thought so asked to change our restaurant booking which again was not an issue. Our evening meal was first class unlike some hotels we could order any meal on the menu and any bottle of wine to our suprise so both went for steak for our main which was cooked to perfection and the wine selected by our waiter to accompany the meal was excellent one of the more expensive bottles on the menu and again thought the meal the staff were exceptional. Our room was larger than we expected and enjoyed a comfoy nights stay which was followed by a full English breakfast. Every year my daughter and her husband treat us to a weekend away for Xmas this our 7th and the best to date.
This is a comfy hotel where the staff are very friendly. The room we had was great with all you need in it with of course an en-suite bathroom. The dinner and breakfast we had was excellent and it was nice to sit out in their garden as well. Absolutely recommended.
Away to remember my 60th
The pub was really nice, the staff were lovely. We were upgraded to the best room in the inn. The food was amazing one of the best meals I.have ever eaten.
The George is very old but has a lot of charactor and history. The staff are there to help and make your stay as comfortable as possible.
