We thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon tea for two. Full marks to the staff for looking after us so well.
Fantastic 16th century Grade 2 listed farmhouse serving specialised tea and coffee, finger sandwiches, scones with cream and strawberry jam plus a good choice of cakes. All served by a very friendly waitress named Shelley.
Fantastic afternoon tea experience, with a lovely selection of freshly cut sandwiches, with an assortment of fillings, plus the addition of beautiful homemade delicacies, including the best scones I think I have ever tasted. It was a lovely sunny day, so we were able to take advantage and eat in the very pretty garden. Although just a stones throw from the hustle and bustle of the centre of Bourton on the Water, a delight in itself, the garden was blissfully quiet. The staff were all friendly and attentive, without being obtrusive. We would thoroughly recommend this experience.
Great location, wonderful and caring staff would recommend to anyone.
The afternoon teas was very enjoyable, very good quality and good value
It was lovely weather ,so we sat outside on a sunny terrace with stunning views, watching a kingfisher on the river nearby. The waitress was very friendly and helpful.and we were served with a lovely afternoon tea.,much of which was homemade and very tasty. The staff were very helpful and we would certainly go again.
Lovely romantic setting
One of those miss it if you don't know it's there places, located in Spinningfields, Manchester. Hey Little Cupcake is hidden away down a side street and located next to a well known chain restaurant (N*****s). A Very welcoming and bright, clean interior. Staff are very friendly and unassuming, just letting you relax without fussing over you, just how I like it. The afternoon tea consists of cupcake shaped finger sandwiches, chocolate coated strawberries, scones with jam and clotted cream, homemade mini cupcakes and, a choice of specialty tea and coffee, or cold drinks if you prefer. There is also a selection of the teas and cupcakes to buy and take away. They even sell doggie treats. All in all, highly recommended and definitely well worth a visit just take a map!!
As you can see from the headline, we really enjoyed the afternoon tea. We had a reserved table in the conservatory. The tea consisted of a selection of freshly made sandwiches, freshly made scones with cream and jam, also slices of cake and finally several small glasses of desserts, All in all everything was delicious, the staff were very attentive. This was an anniversary gift and was lovely. Cannot fault anything!
This was the second time we have had tea at the Best Western Grosvenor Hotel. On both occasions it has been a memorable experience. The selection and presentation of the food was excellent. The staff SO attentive, without being in your face! I suggest anyone reading this review to visit there. You will not be disappointed.
The surroundings are amazing, we were met at the entrance and the car was parked for us, before being lead into the room where we sat in front of a huge fireplace. The tea was amazing, there was a huge choice of teas to choose between, with delicate finger sandwiches, fresh scones with jam and clotted cream, pastries and cakes . The staff were all immaculately turned out and very friendly and extremely helpful. Towards the end of the tea the fire was lit and brought to the end to a very memorable tea a wonderful birthday present from my daughter.
A very comfortable lounge and an afternoon tea to remember. Delicious sandwiches and cakes that Mary Berry could not fault. Very helpful staff.
