    Langrish House

The food was very good quality - loads of clotted cream and homeade rasberry jam. Great cakes. I could have eaten another finger sandwich or two (but I can eat alot!). Sandwiches were lovely. Some bone china would have been nicer and tea leaves rather than bags but it was good tea and plenty of it - they also brought another fresh pot. I would go again.

Chilford Hall Vineyard and Conference Centre

Its hard to find fault, the food was fantastic and the service was prompt and efficient. Although the temperature outside the venue was high the room was cool and comfortable. Although we had not planned to sample the wines on offer, the hospitality was extended for us and we enjoyed that. Possibly provide a cushion as the seats were wooden and could have been made a little more comfortable but this did not detract from the enjoyment. Will certainly be visiting again....soon.

    Dial House Hotel

The sandwiches were delicious and plenty of cakes and scones and non stop tea. The manderine drink was different. We were not offered any sparkling wine. Speaking to another couple they were not offered it but had to ask. However the staff were very accomodating. The place was very comfy and would go again.

    The Crooked House at Windsor

Had seen the place from the outside before, but had not been inside until this time. Very quaint interior, with the narrowest staircase I have seen! Due to the narrow building the seating is a bit cramped, but manageable. The food was excellent, with a choice of sandwiches, fruit cake and warm scones with clotted cream and jam - superb! Service was slow, but the place was busy. All in all great value.

    Shelly's Tea Rooms of Chilham

Chilham is a period village with a castle and Shellys tea room is housed in a listed building on the market square. If you want to have afternoon tea in a soulless hotel, don't visit Shellys tea room. It has warmth, friendliness and good food with a beautiful aspect from the windows. It's full of history, including the steep staircase to the cloakroom, but book ahead as it's tiny. We loved it so much we bought gift vouchers there for our friends to visit too!

    Bovey Castle

On arrival you are approached by staff dressed in tweed jacket and plus fours, car door opened for you and your car is parked for you. On entering the castle you are greeted by staff and shown to your table. There is a wide choice of teas (orange tea recommended). Sandwiches, scones and cakes are all freshly made and I must say very very tasty. After indulging of this lovely tea you will be in need of a stroll, the grounds of the castle are absolutely beautiful and peaceful to stroll around. All the staff we met were very polite and attentive to your needs, you were made to feel very special. I would highly recommend the experience of tea for two at Bovey Castle.

    Bagden Hall

Our Tea For Two at Bagden Hall yesterday was a delightful experience. Excellent service with a really nice selection of teatime goodies from the De luxe tea menu. This included a good choice of fillings (two each) which gave us eight finger sandwiches, small cakes, pastries and fruit scones with jam and cream presented on a beautiful cake stand. All very enjoyable. Our position, seated at the window with a lovely view over the grounds, completed this most enjoyable experience. Can highly recommend this venue if you're in Yorkshire.
