Aerobatic Stunt Flying

This is by far one of the best days I have had. I have flown before with previous instructors but Tizi and her Team at Tiger Airways Gloucester were by far the best! Thank you for making it a truly spectacular day! The weather was brilliant - clear and crisp with snow on the Malvern Hils! It has made me regain my interest in obtaining my full licence.

A brilliant experience. As well as experiencing barrel rolls, inverted flying and stall turns I got to fly the plane and even land it which was more than I expected. Simply brilliant.

I was not really sure how to react when I was given this present. It was on my birthday night and I already had a hangover. So when I opened the Red Letter Days gift pack my heart missed a beat and I couldn't quite believe it. I actually thought I was going to be sick at the thought of an aerobatic flight! Next morning though I was very excited at the prospect. Everything about the experience was great. My instructor was very pleasant and helpful and above all ... calming! It's fair to say that he lulled me into a false sense of security, the cad! The take off and preliminary flight was sedate and beautiful - then the stunts! Oh my God, there are not really words to describe how exhilarating that was. Thankfully my breakfast stayed down, I was not at all scared. It was just as fantastic as you would imagine - soaring and looping through the clouds laughing like an idiot! Thank you Red Letter Days!

The only word to describe my day is AWESOME! The weather was perfect and after a quick chat with the pilot about what I wanted to get from the experience we were in the plane and getting reading for take off. We climbed to 3,000ft and I even got to have a go at flying the plane! We did loops, barrel rolls and stall turns and I didn't vomit once! Thank you Red Letter Days and thank you to my girlfriend for the best birthday present EVER!

... quite literally! The aerobatic flight which Red Letter Days provided me with was absolutely brilliant! I was enjoying myself so much the pilot created stunt sequences and I didn't want to come down! The service was top notch and the guys at the flight centre were even better! They made me feel so safe and welcome. I would definitely do it again!

Arrived at the airfield and within 10 minutes I was up, up and away. Pilot carried out a few basic loops and dives to see how I got on. It came as a great surprise when the pilot handed me control to carry out a loop myself. Unforgettable! Service was fantastic. Everybody was kind and helpful. Would seriously look into doing this again!

Perfect skies were the setting for a superb flight which met all my expectations and then some. I was well briefed before getting in the aircraft and felt completely at ease with my instructor. I was amazed at how much control I was given whilst in-flight, I even managed to land without any help from the pilot! The areobatics were something I'll never forget and also something I'd love to do again. I enjoyed the whole experience from start to finish as did my family watching from the viewing platform. I would recomend this to anyone who has an interest in flying or just seeking a thrill!

Fantastic flight from start to finish. I would recommend this experience to anyone who loves flying or any extreme adrenaline filled event, the hair on the back of my neck is still standing over 24 hours later. It seems to have had an effect on my girlfriend too, she keeps calling me Maverick and telling me I take her breath away!!!

Having watched aerobatic planes from the ground many times, I was a little nervous beforehand but the smartly dressed, courteous pilot instilled confidence. I was well briefed and the pilot explained each step as it happened. The experience was everything I could have wished for!

I had the best day, I was slightly nervous however after meeting the pilot I was instantly put at ease. He was really calm and great at explaining what we would be doing and patiently answered all of my many questions! Once up in the air and after performing our first manoeuvre I realised how much fun this was going to be. Not scary at all honestly, just loads of fun and an amazing amazing feeling. I didn't want it to stop and I would love to do this again one day. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to anyone, such a great experience!

After a quick introduction to the plane and how to strap myself in, we made our way across the field to the grass runway. Once in the air the pilot explained that the aerobatic tricks we did were completely up to how comfortable I felt during each trick. As we dropped down to pick up air speed my pilot rolled the plane over allowing 2 Gs to hold me in my seat whilst flipping me upside down and back up again. Next we looped the loop and seeing the ground above your head was a totally amazing experience. After climbing to 2,500 feet we then moved onto the stall dive. Climbing up vertically for a few seconds the plane slowly, then very quickly fell back to earth. Finally we completed the Cuban roll, a half loop the loop and then exiting into a flip. After all the G forces and aerobatics we headed for home with me flying the plane!

The staff at the airfield were fantastic, informative and reassuring upon our arrival. The time had come to climb aboard the 1951 Chipmunk and take to the clear blue skies. The instructor, Barry, gave final briefings and then informed me that it was me that was going to fly the plane as soon as we had taken off! The North Devon coast was amazing as we sped through wispy clouds, a loop the loop, then a barrel roll, and my smile was displayed from ear to ear for everyone to see.

The instructor was friendly and professional, he explained the workings of the aircraft and the level of the stunts increased so you could always ask to stop or do more whatever you felt comfortable with. A great experience and a brilliant present to buy for a special occasion.

The most amazing flight ever. A fantastic adrenaline injection! It felt so safe and yet so exhilarating. I would definitely recommend it, even if you are scared of heights - I am!!

The flight was so much fun, I had been anticipating fun but nothing on the scale that I experienced. The stunts were awesome and just flying the plane was excellent. I would recommend this to anyone.

I cannot explain how amazing this experience was, if you're an adrenaline junkie then this is the experience for you. The pilot made me feel really safe as he was so confident and ensured that he knew what I wanted from the experience in terms of my fear factor. I did barrel curls, loop the loop, nose dives, cartwheels and the pilot even showed me what it felt like to feel weightless, without even having to go to the moon! I took over the controls on numerous occasions and it just felt amazing. At the end I was presented with a flying certificate, just to show off to everyone! Do it, do it, do it ... thank you Red Letter Days for this amazing experience!

On the day I arrived it was very cloudy and my pilot was out in another aircraft checking to see if there were enough holes in the clouds to take me up for my aerobatic flight. All things condsidered we managed to find some holes to do some fantastic loop the loops, barrel rolls and fly upside down. I actually hit 4Gs and it felt great. I did get to fly the plane myself, but I was a little dubious on that front, 'leave it to the experts' I say! Thank you for a truly wonderful trip, wouldn't have missed it for the world, I am alway envious when I see these aerobatics done at shows. Now I can say 'I've done that'!

Well what can I say, flying has always been a dream of mine and when I was presented with this gift I simply could not wait! I honestly don't think that Red Letter Days could improve on their service any more, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the facilities were excellent with there being a cafe, outdoor seating and car parking right next to the air strip. Even the atmosphere was fantastic, with helicopters constantly taking off and setting down, various light aircraft and even a Sopwith Camel, a plane I've always wanted to see!! The instructor himself, Andrew, was very friendly, talked me through the entire process of the flight as he did it, which helped settle my nerves a lot; as well as being very aware of how I reacted to various stunts. Overall, with each factor I have mentioned I can honestly say that I had a once in a lifetime experience with Red Letter Days, and will be recommending them to my friends!

I would like to thank you for an unforgettable experience. This experience was given to me for my 30th birthday. Everything from booking the experience, subsequent communication and the experience itself was extremely good, and of ease. I would highly recommend Red Letter Days! What a fantastic day! It has got to be one of my favorite experiences and the greatest memory! It truly was amazing - one of the best roller coasters money can buy :) The loop was my favourite, pulling almost 4g, such a feeling. The pilot was very friendly and a master of the sky. I would recommend this to anyone who loves flying and is looking for a good thrill.

The most breat taking experience of my life, and hopefully in the near future shall be following up with flying lessons!

I had a really enjoyable experience, the people at the airfield were polite and helpful. I felt safe with the pilot which is saying something because it take a lot for me to feel safe with a stranger. I would like to thank them very much for a brilliant day and an interesting experience.

I was given this experience as a present. I have to say I was a little apprehensive, but wow what a fantastic day, the pilot was really nice and totally put me at ease and before I knew it we were at 2000 feet performing stall turns, rolls and loops and even had a go at flying it myself. Would do it again anyday. Amazing!

The family spectators and myself arrived at the aerodrome on a windy but sunny cloudless day, we were greeted with a warm welcome by friendly staff, free coffee and introductions to the pilot Frank. We then proceeded to the aircraft where Frank talked through and demonstrated various aspects of the aircraft and safety systems, a good time to pose for some photos as well. Buckled up side by side it's very cosy in the cockpit, engine started, we were taxiing down the runway to get in position for takeoff, given the all clear we were soon off into the blue sky with fantastic visibility and views of the countryside below. The aerobatic manoeuvres were just as fabulous and enjoyable as pilot Frank had suggested and yes I got the opportunity to control some of them myself. I would most certainly do it all again. Thanks Red Letter Days for a terrific unforgettable experience.

I was a little scared before taking this flight but I had a wonderful time. Everyone was so friendly and nice. The flight was so exciting and the experience priceless. Thank you so much!

After a quick safety brief we were off, the instructor performed several loops, barrel rolls and stall turns, then I took control and performed two loops and a double barrel role by following his instructions. Amazing!!!!!

I had the most amazing time. The staff were extremely friendly and it was a really wonderful experience. We did many loops and I LANDED THE PLANE!!!! Yay!

Simply cannot fault the overall service. When receiving the gift experience I was thrilled and the booking system was easy and reliable. Staff were friendly, amenable and very professional at all times. A very rare thing in this day and age!

What a truely incredible experience. Something completely far out compared to normality. And for my friends on the ground, from the briefing room white board illustration of a loop-the-loop and a barrel roll, they could only imagine what it is really like!

I knew a 2-seater aircraft was going to be more 'atmospheric' than a bigger plane. Being right in front of the controls was great, and then being allowed to have a go was amazing. I even got to take it through a loop-the-loop and a barrel roll. The instructor was there to lend a hand if needed and was keen to encourage me to have a go. He explained everything as we went along. I even got to land the plane at the end. These little extras made it well worthwhile.

I was a little nervous beforehand, but within minutes of meeting my pilot and seeing the plane it was replaced with excitement. The experience was a lot more than I expected. I was able to fly the plane a lot and enjoyed every minute of the flight. I had a grin on my face for days after. I can no longer see a small plane without wishing I was up there.

I was greeted with a friendly smile and checked in for my flight. After I short while I met my pilot for my flight and he showed me all the workings of the firefly. After we took off I had the chance to have a go at the controls. Once at 3000 ft the pilot did a series of aerobatics including Cuban turns, stall turns and loops. Before I knew it we had to head back but not before another stall turn over the airfield. Just a great day and the pilot was friendly and so welcoming.

The staff were extremely helpful and immediately put you at ease. The experience itself was out of this world - a real confidence booster. Loop the loops, barrel rolls, stall turns and the chance to have a go at doing it all yourself (if you're brave enough!!) A strong (and empty) stomach is a must. Additionally the views are breathtaking and awe-inspiring and had me wanting for more....!! An experience I shall never forget, a certificate to prove that I really did do it, and a hunger to get back up in the air for more.

Exhilarating, very professional, felt safe throughout the experience, would recommend to family and friends and now have the buzz to do more.

A fantastic experience to do rolls, loop-the-loop etc. The chance to try out the controls and do my own aerobatics was amazing. A great introduction to the fun and freedom of flying. I loved every minute!

What a fantastic flight - the whole experience ran like clockwork - very experienced and knowledgable staff. Put you at ease and made the flight very enjoyable. Definitely want to do it again.

This really was brilliant. Within minutes of taking off I was controlling the plane and could not believe it when my pilot said, "OK, that was how we do a loop the loop - how about you do it yourself this time?!". So I did! As well as my own barrel rolls and stalled turns. My dad did it too and he even landed the plane!!! Brilliant time which has prompted me to look into getting my own pilot's license.

The whole experience was superb. The people, location, support, aircraft were excellent. Only problem, it was not long enough, but that's down to cash!! Nothing further to add, as they would only be superlatives.

Just a really hassle free day, with a knowledgeable and capable pilot, who took time to explain the manoeuvres as well as giving me a real opportunity. Something I'd love to do again one day.
