Come along to the session having rehearsed your song or piece, and have the studio to yourself so that you can make a great recording. A experienced session engineer/producer will guide you through the process and give you expert advice on giving the best performance (and be a lot more friendly than Simon Cowell). You'll also get a feel for the mixing process and what happens behind the scenes in the music industry - and maybe get to hear some stories about stars that your engineer has worked with!
