Studio was a great experience. The engineer, Jimmy was extremely helpful and helped us all the way through the session, very patient and listed to what we wanted. Studio itself was easy to find and facilities were fine. Great day out highly recommended.

Loved it!! Ruth was really nice and helpful and understood that I'm not a pro singer and helped me out enormously! It was really good to see how things work and what you can do to make you sound better! The final cd was excellent and I cannot recommend this enough if you like to sing!

My studio experiance was amazing from the very start. The entire team where so so polite and helpful from the very start. I was greeted with smiles and coffee which is a winner. Having the entire place to myself, everything was explained to me and we cracked on and got on with my 2 songs. This ws carried out whilst i had my water/coffee next to me. No rush, no stress. It was no different to hanging out with my mates on a saturday evening. My songs where then edited, miracles where done and they mde me change from sounding like a drunk with a bad throat, to James blunt himelf. (Joking). Having recorded 4 takes of my song, they took the best parts of each one and came up with the perfect finished result. I walked away with 3 copies!!! Didnt want to leave but didnt want the police called to remove me.All in all it was simply and excellent experiance. The team at Abbey Road and Second to None. Would challenge any other studio to be half as relaxed/friendly and proffessional! o It!!!!

Having planned everything to the last detail for the day my wife and I turned up at the railway station to find that all trains from Leeds to Manchester had been cancelled. We picked up the car and Sat Nav and set off extremely stressed and arrived at the recording studio 15 mins late. We were met by one of the nicest people i have ever met who was the sound engineer/producer. He settled us down and made some tea. I'd decided to record Roxy Music's 'Love is the Drug' and following a few takes (Many !!) we sat down to mix the song. The engineer was very knowledgeable about the sounds of the times and obviously loved his job and the creative side of producing. Having 'phased', 'reverbed' and various other things to the mix we had a final version which was cut to CD. I'm no Bryan Ferry but i came away with a great experience and a very credible version of the song. After such a stressful start to that day it was a great result. I just wanted to do more. What a crazy day !!!!

Friends bought me this for my 60th birthday (I only wanted a singing lesson), so went along to the recording session with the friends and hubby for support. I was amazed how much I enjoyed it as I was so nervous. Jimmy the engineer was really nice and made me feel at ease and made me sound much better than I was after he did his magic smoothing out the bum notes. It certainly was a pleasant experience and would recommend it to anyone. Just enjoy it.

I had an amazing time. Loved Every minute of it. I even got to sing a duet with my 8 year old son Harry. My Husband and Mum loved watching it all. Greg was extremely helpful and made me feel very at ease as I have to say I was a little nervous at first. Really want to do it again.

Brilliant day, brilliant team who put me at ease, tended to my injured hand by finding me some ice to stop it from swelling. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys music and singing never mind how amateur. I am not a singer and it didn't matter; this was about me enjoying a birthday gift from my husband and that's exactly what I got! Brilliant!

I've always wanted to try a real studio recording and my family came up with this wonderful present to make it happen. The studio is situated in a grime location and premises but once in there it was a great. The studio staff were welcoming and the sound engineer made me feel at ease and involved in the editing decisions. The only downside is, due to the popularity of the place, another client arrived at the end of my session and I felt suddenly rushed off with no chance for photos or proper Thank yous' and 'Goodbyes.' Also the studio has a policy that you must phone a number on the door for access. They do not answer knocks. Only problem was that I could not get a connection on my mobile. I had to walk along the road before I got connected which made me about 15 minutes late for the session. When I looked at the time as I left the studio I noticed only an extra five minutes not 15 minutes had been added on to my time. Other than those two things my experience was great.

Stewart and Jonathon at meadow farm studio's were very professional. I was feeling a little nervous but they set me at ease and before I knew it I was recording with nerves gone, I was totally surprised what was possible how when I made a mistake I just re did that bit and they slot it in the mix to watch them do this was not only amazing but very interesting the studio was like walking into NASA, I would strongly recommend this experience to anyone it truly was amazing, not only the day but showing me what I was actually capable of and that to me was priceless the only down side to this experience is sadly it has to end.

I had an excellent time at the Red Letter Day experience at the Abbot Street recording studio in North London. The rather unassuming building masked the delights hidden within. We were met at the door by a lovely receptionist who lead us into the chill-out lounge, no sooner had we sat down when tea and coffee and bottled water plus ginger nut biscuits were provided. Me and my wife with my daughter and her boyfriend went into the neat recording room with the mixing desk, speakers, PC screens and all that recording studio stuff! The 2 engineers immediately made us welcome and at ease and they quickly outlined the plan for the afternoon. My daughter then stepped next door into the recording booth and let rip into Amy Winehouse's Valerie, which she nailed in 2 takes and sounded brilliant. Then nervously I did some amateur blowing on the saxophone yet with all their brilliant wizardry I made my first ever, and not to badly sounding, music CD!

I had a fantastic day recording the song for the first dance at my wedding in August with a great and friendly team. Lots of Fun.
