Everyone was really kind to us and even though we are only teenagers we weren't treated like it. Everyone was very professional, Jimmy is very friendly and helpful and we were really happy with how it turned out! We will definitely be coming back to Abbot Street!

I'd just like to say a huge thanks to the guys at Abbot Street Studio, especially Jimmy who was my engineer for the day.... Made you feel really welcome and relaxed, offered constructive ideas on sound and possible changes on how I was playing to get a crisper note ... It's great to at last here songs I have sung and some I have written actually down on CD - I'm looking forward to a creative year. I'd recommend this day 100%

Despite being absolutely terrified, the guy who was running it, Tom, put me and my friend at ease immediately. We had a really good time and would definitely consider doing it again!

I brought the experience for my Daughter who was 9. She came away with a disc of 4 very well presented tracks. The advice and support was superb and made her feel very calm in a new environment. The 3 hours flew by and the disc is a keep sake for her. It made a wish of hers come true.

James Trott the recording producer was absolutely fantastic. He made the whole day thoroughly enjoyable. Kasia my daughter managed to record two tracks. James spent a lot of time explaining the recording process with my daughter who is currently studying music technology at A level so this helped her understand. Kasia was able to go over each element of her songs and re record anything she was not happy with. James was patient and helped Kasia record two amazing tracks. He also said that we were to listen to the tracks at home and if we thought any elements needed altering we were to email him and he would sort them. I can recommend this experience to any one who either wants to have a go for the first time in a recording studio or wants a proffessional track. James was patient and very methodical creating 2 fabulous proffessional tracks for my daughter. We will post the track on you tube under Kasia Howley. A great day that I would definitely recommend.

I just wanted to say thank you for a fantastic experience. My day was spent at SSR in Manchester singing a couple of songs and then getting my own CD copy at the end. James Trott the sound engineer on the day was incredible. He made me feel so relaxed, which really helped, and let my 3 children watch "daddy singing", which again made the whole experience very special. Thank you once again.

I bought this gift for my 12 year old Daughter as her Christmas present and we finally booked it up for Friday 17th August. We had an amazing time at the Abbot St Studios in Hackey. The Studio itself is beautifully decorated - quite quirky with a lunge area and also a kitche that you can use . The staff made us feel very at ease and very welcome. The man who worked with my Daughter was very patient and really helpful. I would certainly recommend this experience and thought it was great value for money. Thanks to all!

The Abbot Street Studio were so much fun to work with. Ready to start straight away and so friendly from the minute I entered the door. The sound engineer that did my session had so much experience and helped me achieve the final result that I wanted. I would definitely go back to Abbot Street Studio to record and chill out in their exceptional lounge area. Recommend to anyone wanting to have fun, make a serious track and try a new experience. Was the best 21st birthday present ever, Thanks Dad!

This experience completely exceeded all expectations! Despite only bing a amateur musician the studio was professional and gave me lots of tips to help me beyond the day. Having explained what I wanted to ge out of the day they worked to deliver exactly what I wanted and gave me an experience that will stay with me a long long time!

I was very nervous before the session but was made to feel very comfortable. I'm just a karaoke singer but was feeling like a rockstar soon enough. The whole experience was unforgettable and will be one I recommend to others

Entry to the studio difficult; a bit like entering a fortress. Not best start. Studio itself well set up and staff very good, welcoming, did their job well, but perhaps not red carpet treatment.

I love singing and have always wanted to have a go in a recording studio, so when my family gave me this experience as a birthday present, I was very excited - and then terrified! I shouldn't have been nervous though as Jimmy, the sound engineer at Abbot Street Studios, put me at ease. I was able to sing my two chosen tracks through four times each and then watch as he pieced the best bits together. There was also time to unexpectedly squeeze in a third track. I am proud of the CD and would love to do it all again one day - next time without the nerves.

Studio was a great experience. The engineer, Jimmy was extremely helpful and helped us all the way through the session, very patient and listed to what we wanted. Studio itself was easy to find and facilities were fine. Great day out highly recommended.

Loved it!! Ruth was really nice and helpful and understood that I'm not a pro singer and helped me out enormously! It was really good to see how things work and what you can do to make you sound better! The final cd was excellent and I cannot recommend this enough if you like to sing!

My studio experiance was amazing from the very start. The entire team where so so polite and helpful from the very start. I was greeted with smiles and coffee which is a winner. Having the entire place to myself, everything was explained to me and we cracked on and got on with my 2 songs. This ws carried out whilst i had my water/coffee next to me. No rush, no stress. It was no different to hanging out with my mates on a saturday evening. My songs where then edited, miracles where done and they mde me change from sounding like a drunk with a bad throat, to James blunt himelf. (Joking). Having recorded 4 takes of my song, they took the best parts of each one and came up with the perfect finished result. I walked away with 3 copies!!! Didnt want to leave but didnt want the police called to remove me.All in all it was simply and excellent experiance. The team at Abbey Road and Second to None. Would challenge any other studio to be half as relaxed/friendly and proffessional! o It!!!!
