  • Full briefing and demo laps driven by a qualified instructor
  • Take the driving seat of your chosen car (depending on venue) for five to seven miles
  • End with a certificate presentation

Your experience begins with a briefing from a qualified instructor who'll talk you through racing lines, techniques and how to best handle the car out on the track. Then you'll be driven around the circuit in a sports saloon for several demo laps, before putting the theory into practice by taking the driving seat of a car yourself. Choose from a Lotus Elise, Porsche Cayman or Porsche 911 (different cars operate at different venues). You will drive one of these splendid cars for between five to seven miles then conclude your experience with a certificate presentation

Participant Guidelines: Restrictions vary by car. Generally, minimum age is 18, max weight 17 to 18 stone. Minimum height 5'0'' to 5'2'', max 6'3'' to 6'4''. You must hold a full, current and valid (British or international) manual driving licence (12 months at most venues).
Weather: Driving may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions (e.g. snow, ice, heavy rain or high winds) which would make driving at speed dangerous. Please call the venue if in any doubt.
Duration: Expect to be at the circuit for anywhere between half an hour to an hour and a half, including your briefing and ten minutes driving.
Numbers On Day: All in-car tuition is on a one-to-one basis although briefings and familiarisation laps may be shared with others.
Spectators: Spectators are welcome and there are cafe/clubhouse facilities at each venue. Please note that animals are not allowed at any circuit, with the exception of guide dogs.
Dress Code: Dress comfortably (e.g. jeans and sweatshirt), preferably avoiding nylon and wear flat-soled shoes. A helmet will be provided.
Availability: Selected weekday dates for Porsche Cayman. Selected Saturdays and occasional weekdays for Porsche 911 and and Lotus experiences.
