From the moment we arrived at The Marriott Dalmahoy Hotel and Country Club we felt welcomed even though the snow was falling and we arrived some what late! The staff's attention to detail was second to none, the food was amazing and the comfort of the whole place was great. Can't wait to go back.
Me, Relaxed! Never Thought It Would Happen.
Usual day - up at 5.30am, commute into London, home at 7.45pm, stressed, TV dinner, bottle of wine then bed. Red Letter Day: Wake up when I want, breakfast, read the paper, swim, steam room, walk around the grounds, drinks, 4 star dinner, bed. The two night break I had at the Dalmahoy Hotel near Edinburgh was literally just what the Doctor ordered and it stopped the Groundhog Day feelings I have had for months now. A fabulous break from normal life at a time when the world is a tough place to be working in - now I just need to win the lottery.
Great Relaxing Weekend With Excellent Food
Well looked after in the hotel with great service and food. Everybody was very helpful and always cheerful. They all wanted us to enjoy ourselves.
A Very Pleasant Surprise!
I am never very comfortable going to hotels ... Is it going to be too hot in the bedroom? Will it be noisy? The pillows can be dodgy... Happily, our 2 night stay at the Marriot in Maida Vale, London was really good! The staff gave us a lovely welcome on reception and our room was on the top floor - nice and quiet, comfortable and cosy. The food was excellent, the Irish Coffee we had in the bar after our meal was excellent (not often I give that accolade) and all in all, it restored my faith in service and attention to detail. The administration with Red Letter Days was very smooth as well. Many thanks!
Marriott hotels provide excellent accommodation and facilities. Tudor Park, Maidstone ticked all the boxes, as expected. However the restaurant was well above expectation. The relatively small menu is interesting and varied, and the food itself is cooked to perfection, presented with flair and served with care. Truly the best 'hotel' restaurant I have ever eaten in. Great hotel, great food, great facilities, interesting area, easy to find ... what more do you want?
Excellent hotel . Exceptionally friendly, helpful staff - nothing was too much trouble for them. The whole experience of Red Letter Days has been wonderful . I would recommend this service for anyone wanting to give an extra special gift to family and friends.
Great Hotel, Fantastic Service, Super Weekend
Great location in London, only 5 minutes walk to the tube station, perfect hotel with great facilities, really helpful and friendly staff, and good food. All you need for a perfect weekend away.
The Hotel With A Difference - Wonderful
My husband and I were given this weekend break for two as a 25th Wedding Anniversary Present. The Cardiff Hotel was really good. The service in the Hotel was exceptional - they could not do enough for you. The food was excellent and the location is excellent, especially if you want some retail therapy. We caught a water bus to the Mermaid Quay which was really enjoyable. Cannot fault the hotel at all - brilliant weekend - can't wait for the next.
Lovely Weekend At Lovely Hotel
Hotel was lovely - great room with a huge bed!! Food was exceptional as was the service at the hotel - shame the British weather couldn't match it but the facilities at the hotel meant there was plenty else to do! Very enjoyable weekend.
Amazing Weekend Break, We Will Remember Forever!
We visited the amazing St Pierre Marriott hotel in Chepstow for a 2 night weekend break. The hotel was just lovely, great surroundings and good golf courses to either admire or play on! The service was fantastic in the hotel and the food was very tasty. We were allowed a 25 pound allowance each per night in a choice of 2 restaurants, which was enough for a 2/3 course meal - more than enough without feeling too stuffed! There was a leisure centre which was well equipped with everything you could need. Overall, we were very impressed - even the room was modern for such an old, characteristic building! Thank you for a great weekend.
We stayed at The Forest of Arden, Meriden which is situated in a beautiful part of the world. The are lots of attractions within easy reach so there is plenty to do although the leisure facilities in the hotel may convince you to stay closer to home! The hotel room was beautifully appointed and the staff were the best I had come across for a long time. Red Letter Days - thank you for an amazing weekend!

Nearly Forgot To Visit My Own Capital!!!
Travelling is my 'thing'; I love visiting cities around the world but have never been to London ... thanks to Red Letter Days I had a fabulous weekend and got to visit a great city!!!
Just returned from our 2 night stay at the Dalmahoy in Edinburgh , it was just what we needed, the Hotel is beautiful, the staff were lovely. Now looking forward to our next weekend away.
Well Looked After, Great Location, Great Food
You will find it hard to beat the Cardiff Marriott for a city centre location. Excellent service, great food, wonderful weekend.
It was so easy to book, one simple phone call and the hotel in Edinburgh was booked, along with our dinner reservations for both nights in the excellent restaurant! No worries, all we had to do was turn up and thoroughly enjoy the weekend. The hotel was beautiful in very relaxing surroundings, but near enough to the city centre to do the sightseeing!!

Our stay at The Marriott in Maida Vale was wonderful. The hotel itself is modern, clean, comfortable and in an excellent location, but what made our stay so enjoyable was the oustanding quality of service at the hotel. From check in to check out we were treated exceptionally well, all of the staff were polite and attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Our weekend break was everything Red Letter Days said it would be, and more. From the initial booking of our break with Red Letter Days to the break itself, everything went smoothly and exactly as stated. I have already recommended Red Letter Days to anyone who will listen!
Could Not Fault The Hotel, Or The Location
I would recommend the Marriott in York. Room had a super view over York racecource. Handy for the lovely city and surrounding area. Also thanks for arranging two days of lovely sunshine and the sight of hot air balloons taking off from the course from the balcony in the evening and morning!!
We had a great weekend. The staff at the hotel were really friendly and nothing was too much trouble - in fact whole experience was fantastic. The weather was also brilliant for the whole weekend.
Perfectly Organised Weekend
Thank you to the Red Letter Days team for making our weekend special, everything worked liked clockwork and was organised perfectly, the hotel knew who we were and looked after us very well, we had no problems checking in or out, everything that was included in the weekend was taken care of, and everything was hassle free! What a wonderful gift we received from our Daughter.We couldn't have asked for better, I am aware more than ever now that England is a beautiful country full of beautiful people and will think twice before taking a holiday abroad with the carbon footprints and the delays!
Easy, Hassle Free Weekend
This has been the easiest, hassle free weekend that I have experienced in a long time. The communication between Red Letter Days and the hotel had made everything straight forward. The staff at the hotel were possibly the most pleasant and helpful that I have encountered. Red Letter Days made the entire process and the experience an enojoyable one.
We stayed at the Marriott in Edinburgh, on entering the room we let our son go first and the first exclamation that was released was 'WOW' what a room and he was right, the standard was superb, the service and attentiveness of staff was excellent, nothing was too much trouble and their attention to detail was exceptional. The staff and accommodation made a memorable weekend 'Fabulous' or in the words of a 4 year old - "WOW"!
