Excellent service/food and accommodation - value for money could not be beaten. Highly recommended.
Our room was ground floor and ready when we arrived which was well before 3pm. We were greeted with a view of the lake out of the room with decking outside. There was plenty of hanging space for 2 people, the bathroom was very nice, with a good over bath shower. Toiletries included. Could have done with a small patio table and 2 chairs outside as it was a beautiful day. The Hotel staff were very friendly. We tried the pool, which was a little crowded as it was not a large one. The TV lounge was on the first floor and quite a nice area. The Brasserie was also very nice and the staff more than helpful. Our evening meal was included but we were never informed that the allowance was for 2 courses, so if you have 3, you will be charged for it. Not all of the lakes are by the Hotel, which could be a bit misleading, you will need a car to reach the beach and the water ski areas. I would stay there again, so that just about covers it.
Excellent hotel with good service, nice food and a very pleasant experience.
Fabulous village lots of quirky shops, hotel was nice but be aware the 3 course meal is only £16 per person you spend anything more off the menu and you have to pay.just to mention red letter days are doing only the 3 course a la carte meal for 2 for £50 at The George.
Staff were very pleasant Room very clean Bathroom a bit tired Restaurant was excellent Would visit again and recommend
If you want a relaxing stay and wonderful food this is the place to go.
What a brilliant place, excellent food, really, really helpful staff who couldn't do enough for you. A truly brilliant short break for me and my wife.
Great nights stay, Hotel right on the lake lovely setting. Staff very helpful and nice, food was lovely.
enjoyable stay room was perfect. restaurant meal was lovely
A hotel full of character, ther service was friendly & professional, food was top quality also, spa massage was very relaxing, the hotel room needed some minor refreshment to bring it up to standard. Overall a nice relaxing stay
Very clean and tidy hotel. Staff friendly . Room very nice with great view over the heathland. Plenty of hot water for bath/ shower. Lovely soft large towels. Swimming pool super, but not being a confident swimmer I would have liked to see a hand rail or a gulley around the sides. Pool towels again very soft and large and lots of them. Would definitely go back again.
We had this a s a gift for our Ruby Wedding anniversary and saved it to enjoy on our wedding anniversary this year. We had a superb meal followed by a really comfortable and warm night. The service was second to none and we certainly hope to go again.
Second stay at The Four Pillars and a great balcony room allocated this time. Plenty to do and see in this area. Although the food at dinner and breakfast was very good, it took a considerable time to serve at dinner.
Have just returned from a relaxing one night break at the Grange Hotel. Upgraded to the Prestige Room and found it to be of good standard. Dinner and Breakfast was lovely and all staff friendly and helpful. Would recommend for a short relaxing break away from the children!!
Stayed at the "The George Hotel" in Shipston on Stour. The hotel was nice and the food is excellent
We are very glad that we chose the Mercure Kidderminster. It is in a lovely setting, the staff are friendly and the food was excellent. We payed £20 on top of the voucher to upgrade our room meaning we had a bigger room, slippers and robes, free blockbuster movies and a nespresso machine. We felt that £20 was reasonable for this upgrade. The only problem we had was that the room was a little hot. We would definitely pay to come here again.
From the moment we walk through the door, to the genuine goodbye, we were made to feel as though we were the only people staying despite the large wedding occurring at the same time. will visit again
we have enjoyed the red letter day present so much. Hope we can do it again soon.
