    Stanwell House Hotel

Despite having rung in the morning to book, they didn't seem to be expecting us and the restaurant manager went to check that they had enough scones, which they did. The food was great and we took a doggie bag home after gifting some items to adjacent guests! A nice experience.

    Farington Lodge

We had an afternoon tea for 2. There was 4 different sandwich fillings, chocolate eclairs, fruit scone with jam and clotted cream, carrot cake and meringue with raspberries. We ate at 3.20 p.m. The whole experience was lovely. Not too pompous but just right for us. We ate everything as we hadn't had lunch so were hungry. We said we would go again as it was near to us, after the tea we went for a walk on Southport Seafront.

Afternoon Tea for Two at Chateau Rhianfa, Anglesey

Excellent personalised service with tasty food and close attention to detail - all set in sorroundings that are sumptuous and reminiscent of a bygone age. The views from the windows are breathtaking. A really red letter experience.

Hotel was very welcoming and the staff very friendly. The cakes ,coffee and tea was gorgeous and the experience was over all too quickly. The hotel was based in the middle of some spectacular scenery and the whole experience was brilliant.

For the price we felt that there should be a more varied spread of food. There were 2 open sandwiches each and all other products were of the sweet variety. I would suggest more sandwiches, some fruit and a smaller selection of sweet products. Most people cannot possibly consume all the sweet stuff on offer.

    The Crowne Plaza Hotel Marlow

I bought this for a friends birthday, went on a hot day so we chose to sit outside. Beautiful setting by the river, the food was tasty and they were very accommodating when we asked to switch some sandwiches as we didn't like salmon, tea and prosecco were topped up free of charge and staff were helpful. A good afternoon treat :)

Lovely staff very wholesome and delicious luxury afternoon tea. Good that it was all produced in house except for Bara Brith which was locally made.As the weather was so good we sat on the terrace and enjoyed the beautiful location.

    Greenwoods Estate Spa and Retreat

The service was friendly and efficient and the experience was unhurried. The venue in a bar area wasn't the best - a flat screen TV over the period fireplace competed with the piped music so we moved away to a table away from the sound of the TV. The quality of the food was good rather than excellent, but there were plenty of cakes provided.
