Our room was immaculate, the food was lovely (though the menu we found slightly limited), real 5-star service, and we were made to feel special. I would be happy to reccommend this hotel to anyone considering it.
It was my first trip to Bournemouth and I love it. Beautiful beach and lots of places to explore. Hotel staff are friendly. Breakfast and dinner were excellent. Lots of excellent facilities provided (if you can find some spare time to use them as there are many beautiful places nearby to explore). Only minor issue is that the room we got was a bit too small for my liking. Otherwise a very pleasant and relaxing trip. Would recommend this experience.
The room (461)was splendid but needs to be air conditioned ( it was very warm), lovely view. Balcony doors need catches to keep them open in the wind. Service was second to non, everybody was extremely polite and helpful. The set menu was disappointing in that on both nights it was the same and given limited appetites we found choices difficult. That said the food was good and the staff most helpful.What prompted you to give us these scores? A most enjoyable experience. The golf staff were outstanding, especially Glen who helped me sort out my chipping which was crap but is now much better. He didn't charge me anything and when I offered to buy him a drink said he didn't drink. What dedication. My wife enjoyed her spa treatment and the pool and other facilities were super. I like your child rules! ( Spot the teacher!) When I have saved up enough we will come again.
Staff and hotel outstanding - could not have asked for better.
We had a wonderful time! Arranging the day was so easy, the staff at the Red Letter day were so helpful and the the staff at the hotel were so friendly. The whole weekend was brilliant!
Arrived at the Bournemouth Marriott early and got checked in straight away,a lovely hotel. Staff could not do enough to help you, the room was fantastic with breathtaking coastal views, and the indoor pool was lovely. The meals was excellent. All in all 10 out of 10, a perfect UK break.
We arrived at the hotel late afternoon on Friday 7th May and from booking in to booking out the hotel and its staff could not have been more perfect. The hotel setting and ambience was a delight. Staff were friendly and efficent making our Red Letter weekend a truly memorable experience.
From the drive upto the Hanbury Manor the experience started. A long weekend of luxury. Health club had excellent facilities and all meals in the Oakes were well presented.
I am never very comfortable going to hotels ... Is it going to be too hot in the bedroom? Will it be noisy? The pillows can be dodgy... Happily, our 2 night stay at the Marriot in Maida Vale, London was really good! The staff gave us a lovely welcome on reception and our room was on the top floor - nice and quiet, comfortable and cosy. The food was excellent, the Irish Coffee we had in the bar after our meal was excellent (not often I give that accolade) and all in all, it restored my faith in service and attention to detail. The administration with Red Letter Days was very smooth as well. Many thanks!
Marriott hotels provide excellent accommodation and facilities. Tudor Park, Maidstone ticked all the boxes, as expected. However the restaurant was well above expectation. The relatively small menu is interesting and varied, and the food itself is cooked to perfection, presented with flair and served with care. Truly the best 'hotel' restaurant I have ever eaten in. Great hotel, great food, great facilities, interesting area, easy to find ... what more do you want?
Excellent hotel . Exceptionally friendly, helpful staff - nothing was too much trouble for them. The whole experience of Red Letter Days has been wonderful . I would recommend this service for anyone wanting to give an extra special gift to family and friends.
Great location in London, only 5 minutes walk to the tube station, perfect hotel with great facilities, really helpful and friendly staff, and good food. All you need for a perfect weekend away.
Hotel was lovely - great room with a huge bed!! Food was exceptional as was the service at the hotel - shame the British weather couldn't match it but the facilities at the hotel meant there was plenty else to do! Very enjoyable weekend.
Travelling is my 'thing'; I love visiting cities around the world but have never been to London ... thanks to Red Letter Days I had a fabulous weekend and got to visit a great city!!!
Following a stressful 6 months this break was just what the doctor odered. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome by staff. Our room had a spectacular view of Hanbury Golf Course and the Egyptian cotton bed linen ensured we had a comfortable night's sleep. The food in the Oakes Grill resturant was delicious. The gym is well equipped with a range of cardio equipment and weights. Whether you want to play golf, see the local sights, or just relax, this weekend break is worth every penny. I will definitely recommend it to my family and friends and would not hesitate to return.
Our stay at The Marriott in Maida Vale was wonderful. The hotel itself is modern, clean, comfortable and in an excellent location, but what made our stay so enjoyable was the oustanding quality of service at the hotel. From check in to check out we were treated exceptionally well, all of the staff were polite and attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Our weekend break was everything Red Letter Days said it would be, and more. From the initial booking of our break with Red Letter Days to the break itself, everything went smoothly and exactly as stated. I have already recommended Red Letter Days to anyone who will listen!
