A great evening if you are interested in wine and want to understand a bit more. The tasting was lead by Lisa who shows you how to look, smell and taste the different wine. I would recommend this to anyone and will definitely be booking another course.
Really enjoyable night, we learned a lot about wines in a relaxed atmosphere. The host, Justin, was just lovely.
Although newcomers to this sort of event, and most others had been back several times, was very friendly and relaxed with the presenter only too keen to answer any questions and involve everyone
Ian is a great teacher and made the session really fun and interesting.
The evening was enjoyable, relaxed and friendly. The host for the evening was knowledgeable and made everyone feel at ease. The wines displayed were in the price range for most folk. Would return again.
The evening was very informative. The host was very knowledgable and made things easy to understand. Fantastic experience.
My wife and I were both a little concerned that the evening may be a stuffy pompous affair but it really was far from it. Chris the host was really great, made it good fun and extremely interesting and informative. The wines he chose were all very good and the food provided was both unexpected and very nice. We both came away having had a very good evening and may well book again.
The wine tasting event was presented by a confident educator who appeared to enjoy sharing his passion and knowledge of wine. All attendees were invited to taste six wines and encouraged to ask any questions. Brilliant experience.
We went to this wine tasting class with little expectation of learning much from it. In the event, we had a really enjoyable evening, tasting quality wines, sometimes accompanying appropriate nibbles. The teacher demonstrated an in-depth knowledge of the wines and wine areas, was a very good presenter and answered all questions convincingly. From this experience, I would recommend these tasting courses to anyone who drinks wine.
Fab evening relaxing informative
I really enjoyed my first wine tasting experience as an surprise birthday treat.I only drink white wine but after tasting red wines I was really amazed with the red wines I tasted.
I was expecting to be given some various wines to taste but not expecting a lesson on the areas, what to look for etc. It was really interesting and opened my eyes to what's out there in wine.
Opens the mind to wine tasting and provides a good backdrop for starting to learn more for yourself. Recommend as a fun and interesting evening out. Only let down was the confusing way that the trainer said the opposite of what she meant about 40 times and corrected herself, which made it very confusing. Thankfully the presentation was emailed round afterwards for reference.
Really informative, good wines and I enjoyed meeting new people
Did learn a lot about wine and enjoyed everyone's comments
We both thoroughly enjoyed our wine tasting evening. The tutor was excellent, had lovely and unusual wines to sample and his talk was interesting and informative.
Recently attended the Premium Wine Tasting Event at Fulham, in the evening - it was superb! The class was well attended with clearly knowledgeable people, as it was part of an 8 session course covering all wines. There were only a few attendees who were one offs but this did not matter at all. The evening was focussed on Italian, Portugese, & Spanish wines, although most of the time was spent on Italy - my favourite place having been on holiday 23 times! We tasted 6 wines, there were some light snacks available to nibble between tastings. The speaker was very knowledgeable, but there was a lot of information to take in, however there were handouts from the entire presentation to take home and study - very useful! The venue was in the basement of the Big Yellow Storage facility - a little peculiar, but once installed in the room it was smart, bright, modern, professional and looked the part. Afterwards we went straight to a restaurant to try our new skills at choosing a nice Chianti!
The wine tasting was very good
The wine tasting evening was brilliant, with an excellent and very knowledgable host, who found the perfect balance between information and fun. The nibbles he presented were an unexpected bonus.
