Overview

Enjoy one of the best days out in Scotland. Take in views of the Three Bridges as you have never seen them before on our castle cruise. View this magnificent castle, known as the ship that never sails, from the comfort of our heated deck. We pass Limekilns village, as mentioned in Robert Louis Stevenson’e Kidnapped. It was from Limekilns that David Balfour and Alan Breck were carried across the Forth in a rowing boat.

In a Nutshell
  • 90 minute Blackness Castle Cruise for Two
  • Views of Blackness Castle as featured in Outlander, Outlaw Kind and many other movies

Fantastic day out
A fabulous tour! We were blessed with great weather but either way, the four was interesting and the guides very helpful and knowledgeable! Will book another tour with this company!

Great trip
We had a lovely 90 minutes cruising along the Forth. Bit windy so be prepared to stay warm even on a summers day.

A Great Afternoon
We arrived at the Edgars Wharf and went to the office to register the car etc. The girl was lovely & helpful & told us when & where to board the boat. We went to the boarding queue (the wind was extremely strong!) we waited past the due time & NO boat! EVENTUALLY a chap came & said the boat was leaving from a different place ( not sure why they couldn’t have sent someone earlier to impart this information). Once on board it was great. The young chap served us with our ‘cream tea’ which was basic but okay. All the crew were lovely & the commentary was interesting. We really enjoyed it.
