Hop on and off any time at any of the five piers, to explore on foot
Includes entry to the Tower of London, William the Conqueror's magnificent Thames-side fortress
Leave the tube to the stressed-out commuters and choose a more relaxing way of travelling around London, by enjoying the sights on a river cruiser along the Thames. Board a city cruiser and head down the river to Greenwich. The cruise gives you a real insight into the layers of history that have built up along the river, with great views of the Houses of Parliament, Tate Modern, St. Paul's and many more London landmarks. Anytime you want, you can hop off the boat at one of the four piers, go and explore and then hop back on later. Tickets to the Tower of London, the magnificent medieval fortress on the north bank of the Thames by Tower Bridge are also included in this experience - one of London's must-see attractions.
Cruises to the Tower of London operate every day of the year except Christmas Day. The Tower of London is closed over the Christmas period from 24 to 27 December and 2 January.
Anyone under 16 must be accompanied by a participating adult. Most boats happily accommodate wheelchair users but please be aware the Tower of London can only offer wheelchair access to The Jewel House and is otherwise restrictive.
Please note, City Cruises reserve the right, where necessary, to re-route vessels for reason of safety (in bad weather conditions or otherwise) without prior notice.
Experiences start from 10am (with other departures throughout the day). Your Tower of London ticket is valid until 6pm, with last admission at 5pm (4pm Nov to March as the Tower closes at 5pm).
Numbers on the Day
The river cruiser carries a maximum of 250 passengers.
Spectators are welcome to wave from the river bank.
If planning to explore London on foot, we'd recommend comfortable, flat shoes.
There are refreshment services on the cruiser. Smoking is not permitted on board. Please present the booking confirmation letter at the City Cruiser ticket desk in order to receive a day pass and Tower of London tickets.
