Afternoon Cake Cruise for Two
Transporting guests back in time, this tranquil afternoon cake cruise aboard Betsie Jane is the perfect opportunity to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life. Steeped in history, the beautiful restored motorboat offers a glimpse at life aboard a 1930s gentleman's launch, as it gently meanders up the River Hamble, crewed by a professional skipper and mate. Often described as a bird watcher's paradise, the river boasts a variety of wildlife, which can be spotted nestled on the banks, while the beautiful marinas and riverside villages en-route make for a scenic journey. A delicious selection of cakes provides guests with a sugar fix, along with unlimited coffee, tea and orange juice throughout the trip.

- Participant Guidelines
Guests aged 14 - 17 must be accompanied by an adult. Participants with disabilities are welcome, but would need to walk down two steps and Betsie Jane is not adapted to take wheelchairs aboard.
In extreme weather conditions, trips may be postponed if guests' safety could be considered at risk.
The cruise lasts one and a half hours and runs from 2:30pm to 4pm.

Betsie Jane was built in 1938, commissioned by Lord Ebbisham for entertaining guests, while cruising the French canals. During WWII her role was changed from leisure to military use, however and she was used to tow smaller craft in the Dunkirk evacuation.
