20 Minute Gyrocopter Flight in the West Midlands

Prior to the flight comes a brief introduction to the MTO Sport gyrocopter followed by a safety briefing, and then it's time to climb aboard! The 20 minute lesson is on a one-to-one basis and the aircraft has dual controls so as well as enjoying bird's eye views of the West Midlands scenery, passengers are able to become budding pilots and take the controls to learn the basics of flying. - Participant Guidelines
Minimum age is 16. Maximum weight is 16 stone.
Gyrocoptering is a weather dependent activity and it is crucial that you call the venue for a weather check before setting out. If your flight is cancelled because of the weather, it will be re-booked for an alternative date or time.
Expect to be at the venue for around an hour including a safety briefing and 20 minutes flying time.
- Numbers on the Day
Your briefing might be shared, but your flight will be held on a one-to-one basis with a qualified instructor.
- Dress Code
Gyrocopters have open cockpits, so wrap up warm. We recommend long trousers, closed in shoes, socks and long sleeve jumpers. Bring gloves in winter and sunglasses are recommended all year round.

Choose to fly in an open or closed cockpit (quote preference at point of booking) although guarantee of craft type will depend on availability on the day.
