30 Minute Gyrocopter Flight in the West Midlands

Before taking to the skies there is a short safety briefing and an introduction to the gyrocopter. The state of the art MTO Sport has dual controls so if passengers prefer something a little more exciting than simply relaxing and enjoying a unique bird's eye view of the West Midlands, they can take the controls to become budding pilots for a brief taste of how much fun these aircrafts can be. Saturdays and Sundays throughout the year, excluding Christmas and New Year periods.
- Participant Guidelines
Minimum age is 16. Maximum weight is 16 stone.
Gyrocoptering is a weather dependent activity and it is crucial that you call the venue for a weather check before setting out. If your flight is cancelled because of the weather, it will be re-booked for an alternative date or time.
Expect to be at the venue for around an hour including a safety briefing and 30 minutes flying time.
- Numbers on the Day
Your briefing might be shared, but your flight will be held on a one-to-one basis with a qualified instructor.
- Dress Code
Gyrocopters have open cockpits, so wrap up warm. We recommend long trousers, closed in shoes, socks and long sleeve jumpers. Bring gloves in winter and sunglasses are recommended all year round.
