Get behind the wheel of a 20 mph kart on an outdoor circuit
Enjoy 20 minutes driving on the 300 metre club circuit
Finish with a ten lap high-speed passenger ride in a 40 mph kart
It was at this outdoor circuit, aged just 11, that Lewis Hamilton was first discovered as a potential champion. Start by receiving a safety briefing and then let that competitive streak loose with a 20 minute session on the 300 metre club circuit. Be behind the wheel of a petrol kart which reaches speeds of up to 20 mph (and believe us, that will feel twice as fast in a kart). After a break to catch a breath, see how the professionals do it with a mind- blowing ten lap high-speed passenger ride on the circuit in a 40 mph twin seated kart.
At least one weekday date every week during school holiday breaks throughout the year (extra dates are available during the school summer holidays).
Minimum age is 8, maximum age is 11. Minimum height is 4'2''. All participants must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Racing might be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions (i.e. ice or snow) which would make driving dangerous. Contact will be made if the experience is cancelled. Unused laps will be credited for another visit.
Consists of a 20 minute driving session and a high-speed passenger ride over ten laps of the track. Have a break if you like, but both elements MUST be used on the same day.
Numbers on the Day
There'll be a maximum of ten drivers on the circuit at any one time. There will be other people at the circuit taking part in other activities.
Spectators are welcome. The venue has state-of-the-art clubhouse facilities serving hot and cold food and offering excellent viewing areas.
Wear trainers or similar flat shoes. A clean helmet, balaclava, competition-style race suit, gloves and rib protectors will be provided.
At busy times please be patient whilst awaiting a turn on the circuit.
