Prepare to be blown away by the pure power, finesse and refinement that encapsulates an Aston Martin driving thrill at Stafford Activity Centre. On the day drive the V8 Vantage; a beautifully crafted modern classic with performance to stir the soul. The V8 Vantage looks and sounds fantastic with V8 power that is begging to be taken to its limit around the tight corners, chicanes and straights of this mile-long circuit. Start off with a briefing on the circuit and driving techniques before taking the wheel for over six breathtaking miles. Complete the Aston Martin driving thrill with a presentation and a certificate to remember the experience by. Bring a guest along and they can even enjoy a free 4x4 off road passenger ride.
Runs around four times a month, and can be on a Saturday, Sunday, Wednesday or Thursday. The circuit is closed from early December to mid-January.
Maximum weight is 18 stone and maximum height is 6'6''. A full British or international manual driving licence held for at least 12 months must be produced on the day in order to participate.
Driving might be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions (e.g. snow, ice, heavy rain or high winds) which would make driving at speed dangerous. Please call the venue Monday - Friday (if in any doubt).
Expect to be at the circuit for up to an hour, including 6.6 miles driving. Please be aware that sessions start from 8am and sessions booked between 11am - 3pm incur a £10 charge. Please arrive a few minutes early to ensure a prompt start.
Numbers on the Day
All in-car tuition is on a one-to-one basis. Briefings are held in groups of up to 30 people. There are likely to be other vehicles on the track at the same time.
Spectators are welcome and each one is entitled to a free 4x4 off road passenger ride. Other extra (chargeable) drives and passenger rides are available on the day subject to availability.
Dress comfortably (and warmly in winter) with trousers, long sleeves and narrow, flat-soled shoes to negotiate pedals that are close together.
From 7.45am - 5.45pm a free minibus operates every 30 minutes between Stafford train station and the Stafford Activity Centre. Participants who choose this greener way to travel receive a £10 voucher and spectators a £5 voucher to spend on-site When booking expect to be offered the choice of buying a collision damage waiver at £20 to £40 additional charge. Please note there is no obligation to purchase this optional waiver.
