Spend two nights glamping in a beautifully quirky Shepherd's hut, located in Devon overlooking the river Hems. The hut is ideal for anyone who loves the idea of sleeping in a rural location without having to camp! The hut comes complete with a double bed, two bunk beds (the bedding to go with it) and a comfortable seating area inside with views of the meadow from the window and the lake from the stable door. The hut has a wood burning stove inside to keep warm and an outside seating area with a fire pit and barbeque. A hamper is also included with eggs, milk, butter, bread and bacon. The hut stay comes complete with a supply of logs for the wood burning stove or campfire. Make the most of the outdoors and visit some of the local beaches and pubs!
Seven days a week, from March to November. There is a supplement charge of £16 to stay during the school holidays (July to August). Book in advance to ensure the date of your choice (minimum eight weeks recommended).
Guests aged 18 and over are welcome. Unfortunately, no dogs are allowed.
Check in is at 4 and 5pm, check out by 11am.
No large single sex groups are permitted (stag or hen parties). No tea lights or candles are allowed to be used. No music or loud noise is permitted. The hut can sleep up to three adults and another person who is prepared to climb into the top bunk.
