Discover the joys of deep sea fishing and see what angling is all about during this half day experience off the beautiful Sussex coastline. Start the adventure in Brighton by meeting the skipper and crew, getting kitted out with a rod, reel and tackle and then climbing aboard. The boat has played host to an array of fishing celebrities such as Keith Arthur, Matt Hayes and Marco Pierre White. Depending on weather conditions try wreck, reef, ground or drift fishing, getting opportunities to fish for bass, bream, cod, conger, eel, plaice, pollock and mackerel. With tips from the skipper throughout the day, expect to be fishing more confidently as the experience progresses. Keep any catches for dinner or return them to the sea - the choice is yours!
Selected Saturdays throughout the year excluding December - February.
Minimum age is 13, and anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. The boat is suitable for wheelchair users, but please contact the skipper to discuss requirements at the time of booking.
Bad weather can result in the trip being cancelled, please check with the skipper if in any doubt.
The trip lasts approximately four hours.
Numbers on the Day
The boat holds a maximum of 12 fishing enthusiasts, plus the skipper.
Please bring warm clothing, waterproofs if it's raining and sensible non-slip shoes. Rods and reels are included.
Bait and tackle are not included but can be purchased (from 7am) at Tackle Box on the quay, just above the boat's berth in the marina. Upgrades for weekends and premium trips can be made at the time of booking at an additional cost.
