Canyoning in Cumbria
Canyoning is not for the faint hearted, but it's a brilliant chance to get the adrenaline pumping in this all-round adventure experience, where you'll discover some of the deepest and most dramatic gorges in the country and follow a natural water course through a riveting canyon. Start with a safety briefing and get kitted out with the necessary equipment. The experienced instructors are there all the way to provide you with all the skills you need to climb waterfalls, jump into pristine pools and abseil down normally inaccessible waterfalls. In some sections, use harnesses and ropes in order to access all areas, all safely controlled by your instructor, and the upstream reservoir helps to always keep the flow of water steady.
