Overview

Take an exhilarating trip in a nippy, aerodynamic microlight and soar like a bird. Begin with a short briefing from a qualified instructor, before climbing into a lightweight microlight. The type of craft offered at this North Devon venue is called fixed wing, which is similar to a conventional light aircraft and has dual controls, ensuring full safety at altitude. Enjoy the surprising speed and versatility of the craft and once airborne, take over the controls with the instructor on hand at all times to offer tips and encouragement. This flight also counts towards a microlight Private Pilot's Licence, should the experience bring out the flying bug.

In a Nutshell
  • Get the flying bug!
  • Professional instruction from an expert pilot
  • Take over the controls
  • Can count towards flying time for a Private Pilot's Licence for microlights
