Explore the hidden world of The ENO and discover the secrets of London's largest theatre during a guided tour of The London Coliseum for two. Commissioned by Oswald Stoll, The London Coliseum opened as a music hall in 1904. Witness a small section of an ENO working day and enjoy a tour full of stories, characters, anecdotes and facts. View the theatre as never before starting in the foyer, taking in the amazing auditorium and the backstage area. Next, enjoy a delicious cream tea spread at Boulevard Brasserie. Indulge in a selection of homemade scones with clotted cream and preserves as well as savoury snacks. From November 26th 2016, a two course meal from the set menu at Grace Bar will be served instead of cream tea.
Runs at least two days each week (either weekdays or weekends, depending on the schedule). Excludes all school and bank holidays. Currently available from September 2016 until 31 March 2017.
Anyone over the age of five is welcome, but children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Regrettably, the opera house is unable to accommodate wheelchair users.
Tours start at 11am or 2pm and run for approximately one and a half hours. Cream tea can be taken at 1pm or 3pm until 25 Nov 2016. Meal at Grace Bar can be taken at 12.30pm for lunch or 6pm for dinner from 26 Nov 2016.
