Get acquainted with one of the world's most sought after supercars with this Porsche 911 driving thrill at Lydden Hill in Kent. Feel like a true racing driver, handling either the stunning Porsche 996 or 997 versions of the 911, their style and acceleration alone are enough to satisfy even the most hardened of petrol heads! Following a short briefing and two demonstration laps from a professional driving instructor, it's time to hit the track and put pedal to the metal. Climb behind the wheel of the Porsche 911 for six miles of high-octane driving action and experience the incredible pace, superior handling and sensational performance of this supercar first-hand. Finish by collecting a take home commemorative certificate.
Runs at least one Friday or Saturday every two months throughout the year. As availability is limited, please book at least three months in advance for this popular experience.
Minimum height is 5'2'', maximum is 6'6''. Maximum weight is 18 stone. A full British or international manual driving licence held for at least 12 months must be produced on the day in order to participate.
Driving may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions (e.g. high winds, ice or heavy rain) which would make driving at speed dangerous. The venue makes contact if the experience is cancelled for any reason.
Expect to be at the circuit for around an hour, including a briefing and driving laps (driving time is up to ten minutes in total). Please arrive 45 minutes in advance of the booked time.
Numbers on the Day
All in-car tuition is on a one-to-one basis although briefings may be shared. During familiarisation laps in the hot hatch, share the car with up to two other participants as well as the instructor.
Spectators are welcome. Children must be closely supervised at all times. The venue offers good facilities for spectators and drivers. Pets are not allowed.
Wear trousers, a long-sleeved shirt and flat-soled shoes. Any special equipment and a helmet is provided.
When booking expect to be offered the choice of buying a collision damage waiver at £20 to £40 additional charge. Please note there is no obligation to purchase this optional waiver.
