Discover Spearfishing Course in Cornwall
Head to the stunning Cornwall coast and learn how to spearfish in the crystal clear waters off Fistral beach. Lead by a fully qualified instructor, the full day course provides training in spearfishing theory, sustainable fishing practice, breath-holding, diving technique and how to use the equipment. Unlike commercial fishing, spearfishing allows the individual to identify the species and size of the fish, before it has been caught, meaning there is zero by-catch. Throughout the course, spearfishing is promoted as not a sport, but rather a means of gathering food in a sustainable manner. Be surprised by the vast array of food that can be gathered from the sea, including crustaceans, such as crabs and lobsters. Snacks are provided throughout.
