Get competitive with this adrenaline-pumping endurance karting session for five. Compete as a group against other teams on the day and attempt to complete highest amount of consecutive laps in a certain time period. Start off with a full health and safety briefing from a qualified marshal, followed by some practice laps in the go karts to get acquainted with the circuit. Next, it's time for the main event - the thrilling endurance race with pit stops and driver changes thrown in to add to the buzz! The winners receive prizes at the end of the session, as well as leaving with a smug grin.
Saturdays every month throughout the year. This is a popular experience, please book several weeks in advance.
Minimum age is 16. You don't need a driving licence. Some medical conditions (e.g. pregnancy, epilepsy, fainting, neck or back injuries) may mean you can't take part. A disclaimer must be signed on the day.
This is an indoor track so the weather won't matter.
The session lasts for around three hours in total, with the endurance race lasting two and a half hours. Don't be late - if you miss any part of the initial briefing, safety rules dictate that you can't be allowed to take part.
Numbers on the Day
Around 20 to 40 people take part, competing in teams of five.
Spectators are welcome. There are vending facilities on-site offering hot and cold drinks.
Dress comfortably and wear flat shoes or trainers. A helmet is provided. Race suits and gloves are also provided.
Please don't drink any alcohol for at least five hours prior to the experience or you won't be able to drive.
