Birds of Prey Experience in Dorset
Dive into the wonderful world of falconry with this fun-filled day out, surrounded by hundreds of acres of unspoiled Dorset countryside. Not only does this falconry experience offer an amazing insight into birds of prey and a chance to handle real life hawks, it offers an opportunity to explore one of the most beautiful areas of the country. Begin by meeting a falconry expert for an introductory talk and a tour of the centre with a chance to meet some of the star birds. Expect to learn lots of basic falconry techniques under the wing of a guiding tutor, and the rest of the experience is spent flying Harris hawks to the glove, while watching them elegantly soar through the sky - unforgettable and magic!

Seven days a week throughout the year, excluding the Chirstmas and New Year period.
- Participant Guidelines
Minimum age is 14 (children under 16 must be accompanied by a participating adult). Reasonable fitness is required as the day involves a fair amount of walking, often over uneven ground.
Please call the venue for a weather check the day before setting out. If the experience is cancelled because of bad weather it can be re-booked for an alternative date.
Lasts around three hours.

Share the experience with three others, plus a qualified falconer.
- Dress Code
Dress for the outdoors with wellies or walking boots. Bring a change of clothes if the weather is very bad, as most of the day is spent outside. A camera or a pair of binoculars are recommended.
