The perfect experience for two water lovers! This stand up paddle boarding experience is the latest aquatic craze. Stand on a board wider than a surfboard and learn the skills necessary to stand up on the board from a qualified instructor. Learn to put skills to the test on both surf skis and stand up paddle boards. SUP is a great sport for strength, balance and core fitness. Start the session at the Hove Lagoon and, as long as conditions allow, move onto open water to catch some East Sussex surf when feeling more confident.
Selected Saturdays and Sundays throughout the summer season (May to October).
Minimum age is eight years old. Confident swimmers who have not suffered with any previous back, neck or shoulder injury only please.
May be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions. Please call the venue if in any doubt.
Your experience will last for two hours.
Numbers on the Day
There are up to eight people taking part.
Guests are welcome at the marina and there is a club house and bar/cafe over looking the lagoon.
Bring swimming costumes, towels and old trainers (that you do not mind getting wet). If it's hot bring sunscreen, if cold bring warm dry clothes to change into. Wetsuits, buoyancy aids and helmets are provided.
