Head up the world's first vertical cable car and tallest moving observation tower, the British Airways i360, and see Sussex as never before. Move up slowly in the glass viewing pod to 450 feet and enjoy breathtaking 360 degree views of up to 26 miles. Either before or after, head to Borde Hill Gardens to take in the beautiful rich heritage garden set within 200 acres of traditional parkland. The grounds captivate and delight visitors with its series of intimate living room gardens, fine woodland, parkland, lakes and stunning views across the Sussex High Weald. This is the perfect experience to enjoy the outstanding views of Sussex from the air and on land. Head to the Borde Hill Garden on-site shop, where guests receive a 10% discount.
The British Airways i360 runs daily throughout the year, excluding one week in January when it closes for annual maintenance. Borde Hill Gardens are open daily from 8 March - 13 September. Please book 4 weeks in advance.
One participant must be an adult (aged at least 18). The i360 is free for children under the age of four. Brighton i360 is fully wheelchair accessible and so is the majority of the formal garden at Borde Hill.
The Brighton i360 is open from 10am to 9pm (times change by season). Expect to be there for one hour with flights lasting 30 mins during the day and evening flights starting at 6pm and lasting 30 mins. Next, head to Borde Hill Gardens for two hours.
The dress code is casual.
We recommend driving between the venues as they are approximately 30 - 40 minutes apart. If travlling from London or the South East, Borde Hill Gardens is on route to the i360.
