Learn to SCUBA dive and get face to face with the ultimate predator
Dive for half an hour with several types of fearsome shark
Suitable for all levels, no previous diving experience necessary
Includes a photo pack and two tickets to the aquarium
Learn to dive and get to grips with some of nature's most terrifying predators by joining them in their almost-natural habitat at a top aquarium. An experience unlike any other, this is an unmissable chance to grasp the basics of SCUBA diving from friendly experts and meet all the marine animals you'd never be able to see up close in the wild. PADI-qualified instructors will guide you through the process of breathing in the big blue, plus all the techniques necessary to be calm and comfortable before it's time to meet the big fish. Then it's time to slide into the cool water and give a wave to spectators as you're surrounded by colourful fish and sand tiger, lemon and nurse sharks glide gracefully past!
Dive sessions available on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Bookings can be made a maximum of six weeks in advance.
Minimum age is 16. Must be comfortable in water and in good health. If you suffer from claustrophobia, asthma, respiratory/heart problems, certain other medical conditions, or are pregnant, you can't take part. If in doubt, seek medical advice.
Expect to be on-site for five hours. Training takes two hours and the dive itself lasts for half an hour. Please note that there may be a delay of up to an hour and a half between the training and your dive. Please arrive 15 minutes early.
