Six Hour Tall Ship Sailing Trip for Two in Dorset
A rarity amongst all the speedboats, cruise liners and ferries nowadays, tall ships are a majestic sight on the rolling waves and the art of sailing them no less exhilarating than in its heyday. This six-hour sail is guaranteed to make the day of any aspiring sailor or just those who enjoy incomparable coastal scenery and the gentle bob of a vessel at sea. Setting off from historic Portland Harbour, the Moonfleet, a former Dutch cargo vessel built in 1930, will head towards the Jurassic Coastline taking in sights of Durdle Door, Lulworth Cove, Mupe Bay and Worbarrow Bay, where it anchors. Passengers are welcome to join the crew in getting hands on and help raise the mainsail, anchor and even steer should they wish, or just kick back and appreciate the sea views.
