A Taste of Sushi Cookery Course for Two at The Jamie Oliver Cookery School
For a pair of budding chefs with a taste for Japanese cuisine, this sushi making class at The Jamie Oliver Cookery School is the perfect bonding activity. Hosted by a talented professional chef, hand selected by Jamie himself, this insightful and tasty course sees participants add a new string to their bow, as they master the essentials of making sushi at home. Begin with a welcome drink before creating two yummy variations of a sushi roll, one filled with spicy wasabi crab, the other an “inside out” recipe with pan-fried salmon avocado. Finish off by creating a quick and delicious enoki mushroom hand roll, with an accompanying cucumber pickle and ponzu dipping sauce. Top it all off by tasting the creations with the rest of the class. Divine!

Courses generally run on a fortnightly- monthly basis, times and days of the week can vary but are published three months in advance.
- Participant Guidelines
Those aged 16 or over are welcome. Please inform the school at the time of booking of any dietary, allergies or specific medical requirements.
Arrive 10 - 15 minutes early to ensure a prompt start. The class lasts around two and a half hours including tasting and eating time.
- Numbers on the Day
Please note that the chef may require participants to work in pairs.
- Dress Code
There is no dress code but casual clothing and closed toe shoes are recommended. An apron and all equipment is provided.

If you would prefer to take your food away with you, please bring a cool bag along.
